Rules are meant to be broken when needed.
When you can't do anything about a situation and the last option is to break the rules. Depending on the time and situation given. You do the crime you do the time. For example. If you had to come up with the money to save your family and time is not on your side the last thing you can do is to steal for the ones you love then if it saves their life wouldn't anyone risk their life for their family? When I say risk their life I mean freedom. We all know the consequences that follow and we will sacrifice our own self to save those we love especially our children/our loved ones people who mean everything to us. If we had no choice given and we tried our best to get help from everyone to anyone but no one was there to help what else can you/we do?
Now this isn't always the best thing to do in some scenarios but as long as breaking the rules don't involve hurting anyone or taking someone's life away I'm sure that if it saves a life or many lives then yes rules are meant to be broken. I would break it if needed just to save many or even just 1 life because 1 matters.
Anyways RULES should stay the way it is it has worked for so long but there are just some that need to be looked into that may need a little bit of tweaking. The rule-makers knows whats best for the people I'm sure they did not just get to where they are at without the knowledge and experience and I'm sure they also had to live the way others did in order to experience what others are experiencing they can even be beside us and we don't even know it. To know what rules are to be broken you must first experience the reasoning as to why they had to be broken. The reasonings vs the excuses. Which one outweighs is there's a will there's a can. You will do your hardest to succeed in life by obeying rules along the way. Rules are there not to keep us in line but to help us along the way. We have our own will our own rights and the knowledge to know what is wrong or right we also are given the feeling that we have felt in our journey and we know when something seems to be off or wrong like Spiderman we get these senses. A666nd it is up to us to follow it. Our intuition plays a big part you will sense things that makes eye doesn't see this is when your body mind and soul aligns and when it does you just know and feel that you must do what you believe is right even thou you know that it may break some rules but you just know that you need to it because you can see it by the experience you have encountered and the knowledge you have learned from it. And when you feel that something just isn't right or you just feel that it's needed you go with your feeling and what you believe. And because you believe you need to see for yourself that what you feel is right so you go blindness into the unknown and you hope that you are right and if you arnt well atleast you went with what you believe in and now you know. Atleast it was your own choice. So let me ask now thesame questions are rules meant to be broken? Yes they are but that's the test of life the questions we should ask is. What are you willing to sacrifice? Your freedom? Or the freedom of others? If you can make a difference and if you had to endure all the pain and suffering to change something wouldn't you sacrifice yourself if it helps all of us? If it can make a difference?

GOOD EVENING EVERYONE,
My name is Samra Qureshi, I am really glad to speak on the topic-Rules are meant to be broken.
First and the foremost thing is thank-you for giving me the opportunity to speak and now lets get started.
Rules are the guidelines provided to individuals to follow for a better and peaceful living. Often people concluded the following rules as restriction and feel prisoned.
As per my opinion, the application of rules depends upon the circumstances and situation.
Killing someone is not accepted against the living while killing someone on borders is accepted.
I also believe that some rule-breaking in the daily schedule gives us the opportunity to learn and explore around.
EXAMPLE- I would like to share a very common example with you. A man goes to the gym for weight-loss, his instructor asks him to follow and adhere to the planned diet. Albeit he want to lose his pounds but can't go on days without deserts or pizza, In that a small cheat day is made for him so that he can enjoy exercising along with his regime. I shared this example just to tell you about how sometimes breaking a small rule gives us gratification.
I would like to share the example of the current ongoing situation around the world- COVID-19 virus.
The government is asking the citizens to remain quarantined if they have any travel history and also asking people to remain inside their dwellings until the curfew is closed.
This is the road that is beneficial for human health. As the virus is spread through contact, physical distancing is the only way to contain its spread.
Respected Prime Minister SHREE NARENDRA MODI appealing the citizens to follow the rules and guidelines to avoid the epidemic. He is asking citizens to contain accumulation to avoid spread and further deaths. This is a great example of following the rule for the welfare of society.
Along with it, I would like to ask you all a question. The breaking of rule for the wrong reason albeit giving pleasure should be allowed?
Of course not, we cannot do anything wrong just for gratification.
I would end the topic concluding that rules are great to make and follow as it helps in bringing discipline, peace, distinction, gratification in once's life, and someone breaking it if it brings peace without knowing it won't hurt others and you can explore more.
Thank you all for patiently listening to me.

Rules are meant to be broken right :- this thinking has lead our country in such a adverse condition that we are lacking behind from the country like china. Does anyone has ever wonder the populous country like china has developed in a pace of rabbit. Just go a couple of decades before and compare India with china they were almost stand equal. But could you just imagine where the India is and china is at this moment. We all know the cause of it right we call it corruption. Have you ever tried to inculcate why is this corruption, yeah its the thought of Indian that rule are meant to be broken, here the one who create the rule brakes the rule. Rules binds you to a certain area you cannot exceed that constrain. Rules inculcate discipline, punctuality and sense of responsibilities in you. Which ultimately makes you perfect and keeps dignity of country. Country will prosper if and only if the inhabitants bind himself and work with integrity. If we won't follow the rules and there would not be any penalties, just imagine what will be the situation. Just relate it to daily life if there would not be the norms and regulation do you ever think any girls could ever walk safely to the road. Even though there is rules and penalties then also there is not even a single day you won't find the report of molest and rapes. Now you could just examine if there would not be any rules than what could be the world as a whole.
But still talking about rules yeah I am completely concur that to make your life joyful its necessary to break the rules but those breaking rules should not harm any body feeling or relationship. Breaking rules for fun can be consider till it won't do great impact or effect someone severely. And also there are some rules which can be broken under some circumstances like if someone met with severe accident and he has to admit in the ICU then I think first comes life then rules. So at that situation we need to break rules.
So ultimately my conclusion is that break rules and decorum but not at the cost of life, relationship, feeling and dignity.

Its a good thing to follow the rules. Going by the book creates discipline and prevents chaos in the society. But sometime there are certain circumstances where its not wrong to break the rule. Take for example, a person is heavily injured in an accident, its mandatory to lodge an FIR before doctor can proceed. Now here is a case where time is very important. This patient can die in absence f instant medical attention. Doctor can work on his own discretion by breaking the rules by starting the medication first and legal procedure later. Another case, your traffic rule asks you to keep your vehicle speed within 55km/hour. Your house is on fire and your only kid is trapped in it.
You need to get there as soon as possible. You might just ignore the red signal and cross the speed limit. If you can save your child this will be a decision you won't regret for rest of your life. These examples though very specific in nature reveals one very important point unexpected circumstances demand unexpected actions.
Now some people find it fashionable and very cool to break the rules. They believe that as James Bond has "licence to kill" they have "licence to break the rule". They might be doing to this to look different from ordinary people. But they don't realize that they are disrupting the balance of the system and sooner or later the system is going to punish them.
Another case which needs working beyond boundaries is when we are developing new projects, new ideas. Sometimes innovation demands breaking the rules then only we can explore the unexplored territories. In that case again breaking rule is not bad. So whenever we are going to break a rule there should be a well justified reason and not any nonsensical excuse.

The topic is Rules are meant to be broken.
With this, I would not deny that I myself may have broken many rules, be it rules framed by my parents or by my families or maybe by my school and college teachers.
Who obeys rules I don't and maybe it might be with all of you in this discussion. On toll road it's written that the speed should not exceed a certain limit but who has the time to obey them. Even its made compulsory that kids who are below the age of 18 years should not be permitted to drive but all of us have seen kids under the age of 18 driving rashly on the roads and the recent case of a boy who killed a person on the busy roads of Delhi. For kids, they aren't aware of all these rules they think what will happen if we just try to break all these rules. The results may destroy their life but who cares. Their parents are also supporting their kids. Even when on cigarettes packs it's clearly mentioned that smoking is injurious to health. Smoking causes cancer. But this has increased more smokers, be it children under the age of 18 or above the age of 18 we see everyone smoking in the market. If any of us try to stop them or give them the harmful cause of smoking they won't even care to listen. And I have also tried stopping one of my close friends that why are you spoiling your life when you are aware of its harmful effects that person in one or two days told me that he doesn't want to keep this friendship going because I was trying to change him. I know what a lame reason.
But anyway human are there to hide their mistakes but when other person makes the same mistakes we are the first one to speak out loud that the person is not obeying the rules. So we are there just there to break rules.

When I was young my parents had this rule that I could never have dessert before dinner. I hated it because as with most kids dessert was the best part of my day. When I was 9 years old I had enough, my friend at the time josh was over and we decided to break the one rule that was never supposed to be broken, eat dessert before dinner.
We rode our push bikes down to the local store and bought a 2 liter container of neapolitan ice-cream and smuggled it into my room under my jumper. We hadn't eaten anything all day in preparation and were starving. Together we ate that whole container of ice-cream within the hour and within the next 40 minutes we were vomiting it back up.
Although it is a light hearted example of breaking a rule, I understand that if I hadn't broken that one rule I might still be eating dinner before dessert without any knowledge of why I was doing it. Sure, rules are set so we can all live in a perfect world but in the end the perfect world is the one we don't appreciate because we haven't learnt from our mistakes and experienced the reason for the rule in the first place.
Making mistakes and learning from them is instrumental in human development and rules are made to be broken to push us further into understanding our own boundaries and the worlds reasons for having rules. Rules are meant to be broken so we can learn for our own, and each others mistakes.

I would like to introduce myself as harjeet singh and my brief views about the topic is given below:-.
Rule is necessary in every field of life. It is made to fallow not to break. Not even a single organization can work proparlly without rule and regulation. Let us take few eg of some field.
1. Army-if soldier not fallow rule and regulation then how will they fight to gather in a war.
2. School-if student not fallow rule & do activities like making noise in class room, flee from during exm, stand against teacher. Then how it will possible to make them a good citizen of a country.
3. Sports-if a sports man don't fallow the rule then how it will possible to play a good game.
4. A general eg you went to a govt office for making your domicile certificate, you stood at no 10 then certainly some boys come and stood up at first position one after another. Then what will rest of do?
These are the very few eg that I explained here. But all these thing matter in our life more then enough. Rule are made for maintaining law and order in a vill. , town, city, state, country, world and any organisation.
Rule give peace full life to each and every indivisual. And doing best by fallowing the set of rule is a matter of diginity and proud. Lastly I want to say that "rule are meant to fallow not to break".

Rules are meant to be broken' if this is true then no man on the Earth would be alive today. Just imagine for a minute that there are no rules and regulations in this world. Rivalry countries would have destroyed each other using their nuclear weapons. Druggist supplying drugs through country boundaries. People harming, killing and robbing each other according to their needs and moods. This is just a glimpse of the situation. When it will happen no one will remain alive to discuss on that issue. A world without rules is like a graveyard. We are living in a modern era where we have technologies to make our life easier, we have mobiles, trains, aeroplanes to cover thousands of miles in a very short time. These all are gifts of a systematic society embraced with rules and regulations. Talking about the situation of our country, girls are raped and people are murdered in day light and it is happening when we have a proper system of rules and laws. Imagine what would happen if no rules are there. Everything will be in chaos. And again with these modern technologies, humans have created enough weapons to destroy itself completely. So, the rules are becoming more and more important for our lives. These are the rules which are actually helping us in sustaining human existence on Earth.

Rules that we follow in our day to day life cycle are the essential measures of taking steps ahead rightly and proper decisions are centered round the rules which are key to living a good life. Offcourse stringent laws as for rules before us are somewhat difficult to comply with. Then we take recourse to ignore them somehow resulting in operational difficulties on the way to our normal existence as though we defy to sort out normal acceptance of the other sides and respects of the hard rules only tricky way is the means of breaking a rule for mere attaining objectives in a short cut.
But we forget that there is a reward waiting for us in a long course of our movements ahead. Yet we commit gross mistakes simply avoiding the path of our duty and rules are the does and don't that we sometimes forget to follow because of our petty interests that in course of time prove to be so disastrous that we can hardly be able to protect us from monstrous downfall which is beyond all expectations.
Then we suffer and think long about the past course of action which rendered us sorrow and tears for happiness and cheers due to breaking rules and making a primrose path by sheer indulgence in corrupt means in what actually is in form and manner.
