Hey friends,

Lot of discussions are going on this topic 'Rules are meant to be broken'. It may be true may not be true. However, I feel that rues are meant to be broken but we need to specify which rules. All rules need not be broken, if some are oppressive then there are as some rules which are made for the betterment of the society.

Just imagine, what would have happened, if there were no rules to elect government, no traffic rules. Any one can do anything, ride anywhere, go anywhere. Ya it sounds good for sometime thinking 'aapni marzi ke malik' (to be the master's of ones own will) but what next, in long-run, it will become a torturous, no one there to guide. Life will be like a boat without a boatman.

On the other hand, there are some rules which should be broken example dowry, child-marriage and many more. Conclusively, I would like to say rules are not meant to be broken but yes they need to be changed with time, situation and fashion.

First of all we need to know why the rules is made. After studied we know it is made to make the lives of people easies. It is just the guidance which we should follows.

Rules provide us discipline, maintenance, punctuation and value of time in our life.

Ex student follows the rules on enter and exit into the classroom, how, when and where to speak.

Rules is important to protect the people from suffer the problem, it may be saves life,

Ex the rules is that only two person can be sit on the bike, If it will not follow the probability goes high to having accident, Red light people have to stop in traffic single. For do not follows the rules you has to pay fine and penalty so it is the good way to maintenance discipline,

Rules are also made a better person to be gain professionalism ex In the companies and organizations you have to follow all rules to work on that company and commensurate their environment to be success.

No rules should not be broken. There is a certain Reason for each rule was created.

In other words, we can say that there are two kinds of people.

1. Would obey when the instruction is given.
2. They would physically get affected and then realize later.

For example:

Our childhood days our mom would have told not to go near candle but we would always be attracted by them and then we would get wounded in our hands.

In the young stage, government or police would ask us to wear helmets but we would think it's difficult to put on in sunny days and we would not use them.

But soon we would met with an accident then only we realize our mistake.

So there is a certain reason why rules are created especially when elder people advise us we should think and obey them. Because if they say there might be a reason for all the rules and regulations to be followed so if we broke our rules we would break our life timeline.

Rules are Meant to be Broken!.

In my Opinion, the application of rule depends on the circumstances and Situations. Because killing of a person in society is Against to the rule of Living, whereas killing a person at Boarder or in the forest by our commandos or by the militants is well accepted.

In my opinion, there are no universal rules which are applicable to each and every situation. That's is the reason it is well said in the constitution courts to give a sense of the rule. The rule has to be modified to the Situation if it is giving adverse results for the prosperity of society then the rule has to be broken as per the constitution, not whomsoever wants to broke the law.

The thinking capacity and application our mind to a particular situation makes us different from the animals living in the forest.

I can tell one thing before doing anything apply our mind and common sense.

Thank You.

Great, my dear friends I appreciate you all for your valuable points. May I add my points now. Rules are made for following not to break. Breaking rules mean the person create a new rule according to his/her mindset, it can't be accepted in a democratic country like ours. Rules are made for all people so everyone should follow it. I had noticed that some of my friend's point major rules are broken by rich people and politicians, then why we want to follow it. Yes, you are my of the businessmen and politicians breaks rules, here we don't want to follow these, we should take precautions for this. And one more thing, you people blames the other people, are you following the rules, many of us had no shame to pissing in roadside. If poor people break small rules rich one break big ones. So we are the next generation of our nation we should take the pledge to follow rules made by our judiciary.

Rules are meant to be broken I did not agree with this statement because rules makes the people life easier, comfortable and challenging but sometimes to be broke the rules is good for us. Rules are Rules its equal for all of you either rich man, middle or poor man. It is that type of things that never create a difference. For eg: When we go to school, there is a rule that everyone has the same uniform either rich or poor student because school is a place for gaining some knowledge, not a fashion show. Rules doesn't create a negative thinking of poor students that he is a poor and other is a rich but many cases rules are broken is good for us. Sometimes there is a patient whose condition is very serious, they reach the hospital in very short period of time but there is an issue is Traffic red light, at time we broke the rules because ones life is more important than rules, .

Good Evening,

In my opinion, the statement Rules are meant to be broken is partially correct. It depends upon the rules which are to be broken or not, for example, there are some traffic rules which are not meant to be broken and we should follow them properly, also there are some laws which were set by Britishers in India, but they harass some our peoples in many ways, that's why many Nationalists and Freedom Fighters gave up their life fighting the Britisher for our freedom and by breaking the laws. So it depends upon the Rules which affect the majority of the people. Rules are set by the government which are always in favour of the masses and when the masses do not agree with the rules or want some changes in it, they broke the rules. In football, you break the rules of the game you are out of the game.

So yes, Rules are meant to be broken but not always.

Thank you.

Just like a coin is having two sides same rules are having two sides.

According to my point of views.

1. It helps in attaining success.

2. It helps in achieving your target or goal in a proper manner.

3. Rules help in going right direction because they are meant for providing right direction.

FOR EXAMPLE: SCHOOL -taking permission for going outside class, come on time in class.

So rules are meant to follows not too broken.

But on the second side sometimes if you are getting benefited with broken rules then you should break the rules.

FOR EXAMPLES: TRAFFIC SIGNALS-if you are in emergency then you should break the rules rather stick with rules blindly because you are going to save the life of someone.

So my conclusion is like that.

Rules should be broken for the creation of new rules like SATI DAHA which was for hindu but now replaced THE RULE.

See basically we need to understand why there are rules. We have studied and we know that there were rules from long past. Why do people find it necessary to apply rules. The answer is to make our lives easier. Rules are just the guidelines to follow.

We must follow rules. Whenever any new rule is made or prepared, people think over it multiple times. They knew the consequences of not following any particular thing, or they do it because they don't want people to suffer from anything they knew that it will happen if we don't follow it.

So we all must follow rules. Accidents occur either because of not following rules or because of negligence of a person. So, we must keep in back of our mind that, this is for us only. We must respect it and follow it rather than waiting for someone else to do it. We should take initiative and carry things.

As coins has two side in this way we can see this topic in two ways:

Taken positively or negatively depending upon people's perspective.

Positive way: yes if someone is injured and we have taken him to the hospital and there the doctor is saying that first we will have to lodge the complaint then obviously dt is the time where we should break the rule.

Negative way : if we always break the rule then.

1) we would not have been a good citizen as because of the rules in school that we should be punctual, clean etc.

Because of the punctuality we understand the value of time in our life.

So, we can say that rules should not always be broken some are made to give us a lesson and their importance in our life. And sometime it should be broken to make other understand that they are doing wrong in this situation.
