In my option, one should follow rules not for his own good but also for others. One must consider following rules is good for the long run. I would like to elaborate it by saying when we park our vehicle in a no-parking zone (knowingly) then because of that may be a lot of people can suffer and get irritated because of a wrong decision of not following the rule.
I completely disagree with the statement of rules are meant to be broken in any way.

Firstly, thank you for giving me a platform to express my views & opinions.
Rules are meant to be broken!
Everyday We live with the rules, We follow rules, We break rules. Rules is nothing it's just behavior of our lifestyle. I would say about today's scenario, nowadays COVID 19 spreading day by day. Because of that, our PRIME MINISTER says that in this situation, we should stay at our home with our family. And it's very strictly announced but most of the people do not consider it. They are breaking their rules.
Now, end the topic concluding that rules are great to make a follow, God Ram, is the best example of rules, he always go with the life of rules, he never breaks rules in or life and in the end he is great & the very brave king of Ayodhya.

First of all we need to know why the rules is made. After studied we know it is made to make the lives of people easies. It is just the guidance which we should follows.
Rules provide us discipline, maintenance, punctuation and value of time in our life.
Ex student follows the rules on enter and exit into the classroom, how, when and where to speak.
Rules is important to protect the people from suffer the problem, it may be saves life,
Ex the rules is that only two person can be sit on the bike, If it will not follow the probability goes high to having accident, Red light people have to stop in traffic single. For do not follows the rules you has to pay fine and penalty so it is the good way to maintenance discipline,
Rules are also made a better person to be gain professionalism ex In the companies and organizations you have to follow all rules to work on that company and commensurate their environment to be success.

Why are the rules made? Its just made to make us punctual, disciplined in our day todays life. But there are some situations in life where we need to break the rules. So breaking the rules in that particular circumstances is ok. But intentionally breaking the rules is not accepted.

In India, people are mostly habitat to break the rules, so we do not have any expectation from those people to obey the rules. In India, one see the person breaking rule even though he/she does not takes any preventive action. Indian government has a own rules or system which may be ineffective, so why we shouldn't react to improve them?
If any powerful person breaks the rule should that person be punished?
If we wanna make India a developed country then rules must be strict and common to all and punishment must be such that a person does not even dare to break the rules, then may be our country free from corruption, rape cases, which mostly suffering in India.

Hello friends,
According to me Yes, Rules are meant to be broken but not all the rules. If we break all the rules then a lots of problem created. There are some specified rules needs to be break so that new rules can be introduced. In a fight, game, competition, or war the first rule is "there is no rule", at that time the aim is to win.
We all know that police always behind the thief & the new policy, rules are made to catch the thief when the thief are easily break the old rules.
Someday ago there was a news published in paper that, thief stole the money from train passenger by feeding biscuit, to avoid this government declare to attach CCTV camera and a guard in each boggy. This rule makes a secure journey for the passenger.

Rules are not for break. Rules means awareness, restriction, bond etc. Actually some boundaries are necessary for everyone life's and in system too so the none can misuse anything. Similarly all the organisation has rules book. If we break one rule then we get two more instead of breaking one rule. After made rule has more restriction more foundation we will give more discomfort to follow.

In my point of view, rules are made by us because to do things in right way. It comes from doing the wrong thing and thought that we never repeat this and we made rules.
