Role of Ethics in Business

Ethics will gain importance in the coming years because you can no longer fool people in India with the advent of media and rising literacy rate.

Today's youth wants to work in a company that is highly respected, same can be said about consumers who want to purchase from a well known sources.

So ethics is no longer a fad but is going to be a compulsory norm for companies.

And the day it will be; India will truly be a superpower.

In my opinion, business and ethics can't go together because in today's situation with immense pressure and competition, its not so easy to become successful with ethics.

When we follow our ethics, they hinders us from succeeding as they squanders time.

Ethics are generally bounded by religion, moral values. Such things can not work in business where you are expected to be professional and practical. A businessman should know how to handle pressure and competition and not to be ethical. People today judge you on money and not on ethics.

In my point of view, ethics plays a vital role in all part of our life. In a busines organization, ethics is the most important one because if we have to run a business through a set of ethics. We have to consider the customers and the workers working in that industry. And the quality of the product is also to be a better one due to that ethics. Because they are having a rule to how to make a good product for our consumers. Them only the consumers has to be bought that product. So ethics plays a very important role in each and every part of life.

We should be confident about what we are doing.

Business ethics is just as important as acquiring the moral autonomy principal where your character or moral values determine what type of person you are or in this case the type of business you're running.

So if you dare to do unethical acts in the business industry to satisfy the companies obligations or yours, then you and the company shall suffer in the long run, because according to the golden mean "Do unto other's what you want to be done unto you" will always come around one way or another and another main factor in the business world for unethical behaviors, if one is not faithful in little things then he or she can't not be faithful in bigger things, so the person or business will never progress as planned.

Ethics is what make things or processes more people friendly.

Business is basically a way of treating your customer to get the most money out of them, now if that customer doesnt see ethics from the company, why would he be interested in doing business with that company.

Considering the present scenario of the market, a customer has endless options when it comes to doing transaction with a company.

So apart from being the, most feasible transaction. Ethics are the 2nd most important aspects that a person looks for.

Ethics are the values and moral which are individualistic in nature. On one hand, if a person holds onto the ethic until the very end he is likely to get success slowly but for a longer period of time. It is not good to earn the profit at the cost of other people as there are more chances to loose respect in the society. On the other hand in today's wold's people are recognized through their money and power and not whether or not they follow ethics. But not following the ethics might not assure the success of the person for a longer time. This I m in support of the statement that ethics play an important role in the business.

In my opinion I think every company must has its well known ethics and moral values and everyone working there must be punctual to these ethics.

This will increase the trust not only between the employees in the company and their customers but also between the employees themselves.

And for sure as all of you said this will let the company gain the profits in long period of time but also for long period of time because of the reliability that the company achieves through it's commitment and obliging.

According in my point of view, ethics is very important part of business, ethics make the trust with everyone to the company. As todays world is a fraud, fake world which destroy their unity, trust for any business, these they do for the money, but these makes the destruction of the company. Ethics make the company for a long time to run. Ethics is like a food, people eat food for their survival, same as business needs a role of ethics to run the company for a long period of time.

Ethics is very important for every business. Doing ethical business will create confidence in the mind of stakeholders. Business vs safety is very important criteria because doing business with safety norms and ethical practices gives more value than the business without ethical practices.
