Indian culture is the message of humanity, importance of relation, paragon of morality, and living evidence of peace and brotherhood: It is whole discipline in itself, but western culture are lack of them and trying to eradicate the goodness of Indian culture by attracting comfort was and addicted to luxurious.

Yes, Our culture is DECAYING. I still remember the days when we were first introduced to Television. A popular serial "Hum Log" used to be aired. I was still a kid in class 4th or 5th. I remember most characters wore traditional clothes except for "Nanhe" a young boy. We idolised him started wearing jeans instead of kurta pyjama. Congratulations, Culture erosion had just begun. We took pride in learning English, started ignoring Sanskrit, as it was our optional language till 9th. We chose to educate our kids in convent schools and Kendriya Vidyalaya remained with government employees. There's nothing bad in updating oneself technically but aping the west is one should strongly despise. We should remember that our roots teach brotherhood and love not greed and lust. All that west has taught us is to compete against each other and stoop low to reach the bottomless pit of deceit and betrayals. We could revive our culture by doing small things like saying name with hands folded in prayer and touch feet of elders and gurus. We use Hindi as much as possible. Visit temples as frequently as possible. Teach our kids to bow low in respect and not reach so high is life so that when time comes we are not bound to stay at elderly homes and our last rites conducted by people we don't even know.

Yes, I think our culture is decaying and it's not only about the clothes we wear but also many other things. Less than 40 percent youth is aware today about Sanskrit language which is one of the purest languages in world. In food interests, youngsters are more interested in burgers, pizza and coke even after knowing how harmful it is. Children spend most of their childhood with video games. Concept of joint family is vanishing. People prefer to say "bye" and "hello" rather than namaste and touching elder's feet.

No, I don't think so, because In dressing ancient Indian were far more ahead in nudity E.G: Statue of barely clothed dancing girl of Mohenjo-Daro, Khajuraho temple, Konark temple etc. Clothing was same for both men and women I. E a rectangular piece of cotton until Maurya Period, no underwear, no blouse like dress for women. Untouchable and women are getting equal right. Then we are indulging in idol worship, astrology which is not Vedic culture but Gupta culture. So it depends on us, which aspect of Indian culture we are talking about.

No, I don't think so.
1. If any one is saying it in dressing sense, then he or she is totally little information. In ancient India, this country is full of nudity E.G Dancing girl statue, Khajuraho temple, Konark etc. People were wearing one piece of Cloth until Maurya empire, I.E no blouse for women, Women and men were both have same clothes.
2. After the composition of Manusmriti around 400 CE, untouchable Caste had worst position in society, also women position in society had become less than men unlike in Maurya Period.

I think our culture is decaying because the school days that my father had experienced like no competition among kids in studies, playing manual games instead of video games and goes on the great gurukul system is vanished respect has vanished instead of amma and appa dad and mom came value of Indian culture is slowly disappearing sarees and dhotis are replaced but still I hope for some values somewhere may the hope be true, yes we should change according to time and situation but should not forget the root that is still holding us without falling.

Yes, our culture is decaying day by day. Mainly we are responsible for this decaying. If any of our Indian can adopt something from west, he or she takes pride for it. And in same case, if he had some ancient cultures due to good family background he or she tried hard to hide the fact from others and feel ashamed. In every part of our culture like music, movie, language are decaying. We thought that if one knows good English then he is very educated. Bt if inspite of huge knowledge in other fields only for weakness in English he or she is ignorant of us. This is our ignorance. Many words of English has been adapted from Sanskrit-our most ancient language. The most astonishing thing is that we are talking about how western culture decaying our culture and we are giving or compelled to give our opinion in English language.

No, I don't think so why because of our culture is the very strong and immersed in the people. No one can destroy that in case of any such things happened we have to make campaigns so that they know our greatness of our culture. Every one of us has the responsibility to respect and protect our culture. But some other cultures are coming and destroying our culture so we should be careful.
