Of course, our culture is not decaying as you have seen in my last comment. There are some brothers who are wearing trousers shirt the shirts but they are saying that their sisters should wear the cultural dress. But why? If they can wear the western dress so why can't girls wear western dresses? Ok, the girls will also follow Indian culture if boys also started wearing Kataria and Paijama.

Thanks a lot my brothers are not like others.

Hi, I am Vivek Upadhyay. I feel that yes our Indian culture is decaying if we asked today's generation what is Bhagwat Gita there is a big question mark on another side if we say to today's generation about best wrapper then yes people know these mean there is a lack of knowledge of India culture tradition and our ancestors.

Yes, definitely it's decaying.

When I was young I used to play games lock and key chess but now kids use to play with video games.

Second thing the dressing sense of man and women have changed. Day by day its getting shorter.

Trade of joint family have been declined.

And if we opt western culture. Where the people see with by bad way. Or the intention is wrong. Because they haven't seen this culture.

Yes, I agree that our culture is decaying because of westernisation. People who are saying that there were many problems as sati pratha, child marriage etc. Firstly, I want to clear one point that, this type of prathas are only 200-300 years old. Our culture is so vast when you once come to know more about our culture, you get to know many such things which we are practising is not in our culture.

So, I would end by saying that if some parathas have a negative impact on our society so change it not forget or blame our whole culture.

We Indians have so many festivals in each religion. Like Diwali, Dashara, Dandiya, Ganapati.
And many more. And the way we celebrate it is much better than western culture.

Our festivals are not only for god but it also keeps we people in one thread of our own culture. Many of the foreigners think that we have best and most diverse country together with culture. Then why we are following western culture. So guys I only want so that respect and support our culture with festivals, not with this xyz days. We are Indians then be Indian.

I think our culture is not decaying. Because, history is a cycle. It keeps on repeating in one or the other way. So one day our culture will be back.

Hello friends,

My opinion about the culture of India still stands. I think that the people of India will not change. Today on the day of our independence also I see the people least interested in our culture. On this day we gained independence but I here stand with a question, have you seen any person to wear a dress that resembles our own Indian culture?
According to me, I have seen the people talk about everything else except the importance of this day. The people who have supported westernization I am not offending them but I ask them all a single question. "Was it possible for us to get westernized if the British would not have given us independence or the freedom fighters like Gandhi or Netaji had not taken any action?".

I would like to say that the decay of our culture lies in our own hands, if we are not able to prevent it from decaying then we may suffer a huge loss.
