Our Culture is Decaying

Hello Everyone,

We are known for our moral culture but in the modern age, our culture is going to match the foreign culture. There is no respect. No respect for our family as well as our society. Before society and family are main. Everyone respects it. Students have no Discipline. To get honour is the main moto before but today this is not seen anywhere. No moral dignity between us. So, I think our moral has changed in the hateful culture. Our culture is decaying. We should learn about our moral culture.

Hello guys, I am not against the Indian culture but in present time our culture is really decaying. I have a question from all of you if India has a good culture then why Indians are following western culture blindly?

My intention behind this question is, on the one hand, Indians talk that they have a rich culture or unity in diversity and on the other hand they are following western culture blindly.

First, I want to tell that everyone has their own culture and tradition so we don't need to blame anyone believe I know that some people make jokes on tradition and culture but we make to explain to them what is good or what is bad of course they are mature but sometimes mature people also makes an immature things that anyone couldn't expect.

Yes, our culture is decaying. The western culture is invading our culture. Because we are welcoming the western culture for the job opportunities development & etc. But we are forgetting our culture. World is respecting our culture but we are interest to learn foreign culture. I am not saying to learn foreign activities but don't be changes as slavery to it.

Most of the Indians are thinking that our culture is just culture, it is not just culture in it has scientific reason behind every thing what our ancestors do. My request is that "DON'T FORGET OUR CULTURE, IT IS TREASURE OF A KNOWLEDGE".

In my opinion yes our culture is really decaying in the name of development and freedom. For this, we don't need other proof than our current lifestyle which we are copying from foreign countries. Of course, we are advancing in every aspect of technology, education, science, business etc. Yes, it is necessary to adopt some Ideas for our growth but it doesn't mean that neglect our culture and should follow theirs. Indian culture has its own identity, value. Now a day's Indian culture is respected more by other country people than the Indians. In parallel We Indians becoming more 'flexible'to this modern world and hence, we are losing our originality.

So, being a responsible youth keep moving forward with our culture.

Yes, I do think our culture is decaying. It's because everyone thinks that the western way is the 'cool' way. Their necessity is not our fashion. We do not need to imitate them.

Well, I feel, yes our culture is decaying. In India, what kind of clothes we want? western. And what if we see someone in suit or kurta, what does come in our mind "old fashion". Is this our culture? we fell shame on our culture whereas we feel proud of western culture. We don't realize that the one who is wearing suit or kurta, is respecting our culture more than us.

At last, I want to mention that, learning another culture is good but feeling shame on our own culture is more harmful then adopting other culture.

Actually all cultures are decaying, west is associated with capitalism so we often mistake capitalist culture with westernization & cultural decay. Few examples to make things clear:

🎈Exposing dresses (for promoting gym, fitness, tattoo, waxing, dermapolish, beauty & cosmetic products, etc businesses).

🎈Privacy & freedom (for promoting porn, drugs, party culture, bars, unethical sex, family divide causing the need for a myriad of separate products like personal tv, bedroom, vehicle, etc & medical & counseling business for countering side effects). Also to be noted unrestricted & indifferent freedom cause violence so opens up scope for security, judiciary business & populism.

🎈Even democracy is just a fancy name of mobocracy & results in wastage of time and resources for elections. It also forces politics to focus more on short term goals rather than real deeper issues. Democracy values more on quantity than quality.

🎈Feminism & women empowerment is a conspiracy to steal women from men with lesser physical resources and reserving them for elite men. Also, the mental distortion of female minds through constant exposure to an image of the hypothetical ideal male makes them more inclined towards a few elite men that can afford to look & live like a hypothetical alpha male.

🎈Both parents working & busy in work give the opportunity to tech cos to distort & program children in a way favorable for capitalism.

🎈Consumerism, opulence, excessive choices, ostentation, celebrity culture, money worship, personality advertising. All are simply intended to increase businesses & money movement.

🎈Education (focused on raising aspirations & expectations, developing taste for brands, brainwashing with techno-optimism so that careless consumption cycle can go on in false belief of existence of solutions & remedies, brainwashing & creating slaves for fueling capitalist culture who find pride in serving & promoting greed in exchange of money which they can use for proving superiority & trigger chain reaction of chasing uncertain goals in society).

Our topic is our culture is decaying.

In my opinion, it is has declined but not completely we have adopted western culture like wearing cloth, listening to the song and also in term of living we prefer nucleus family but we have not lost completely today many people do pray and if they are going to start new work they do worship of god and greet the elder and also we celebrate many festivals like Holi, Diwali and Dussehra. At last, I want to say you adopt new culture but do not leave new culture.

I strongly believe that adopting western culture is not a sin, in fact, I must say that it is respecting other countries culture along with your own. A girl wearing jeans or shorts doesn't mean that she has forgotten her so called sanskar. If I m not wrong then I must say men must wear kurta pyjama where ever they go if they are so much into their culture, in fact, they should stop wearing coats and wear traditional dhoti Punjabi and roam in the streets. Our Indian culture is beautiful and is respected by all of us wearing a western cloth is all up to the people's choice. And ya we think that parents feel proud that their children are adopting the western culture and forgetting the Indian culture I will say no to it they are happy that their children are balancing both cultures. I live in QATAR near DUBAI I will say that all Indian students here are very much proud of their identity and follow their customs in fact whenever we meet our elders we make sure we greet them with NAMASTEY UNCLE NAMASTEY AUNTY and touch the feet of our gurus not only that we also pray to god regularly and celebrate all the festivals here.
