People never change for the sake of others because after all no one will play your role so we have to stop adopting the western culture every persons culture is the best.

I think tell about for Indian culture is not decayed. But improve our life style, then not fully adapted for western culture.
If the Indian culture follow for the village people only, but city people are not following the Indian culture.
So in many years later the Indian culture is totally decayed. The need of time to follow the western culture.
But in this western culture is suited for only men it is not suited for women.
Then its improve for the science, activity, behavior, technologies, and skills.

Indian culture gives us lots of different people, caste, race and everything and also getting to learn lots of different things at ice. Where as in foreign country you won't get to learn many things. There life will be like a machine. The only thing you get to learn is just culture, religion, every one out of there. So learn to love our country.

Change is the universal law, adopted by the times. Invention of new religion around the globe was a result of change, then I don't understand why we blame east & west?

Hello everyone.
I am Bhoomika.
Our culture is indeed decaying day by day.
Maximum of the people saying culture is decaying because of Western influences.
Western people are not forcing you to follow their culture. You are interested in their culture and following. The Western culture is not influencing anyone.
I observed that some people still follow our own culture even though maximum are going with Western culture.
Western culture is not too bad and also it is not too good. Respect and follow our culture.
And Don't compare with Western culture.

Every individuals have their own rights to make choices of what they want to follow, what they want to believe but that doesn't mean we shouldn't respect what we have with us?
Nowadays, people are more attracted towards Western culture, but they are forgetting that the country to which they belong is well known for its culture and heritage. As a citizen, it is our responsibility to preserve it.

Today, I stand before you to address a concern that weighs heavily on my heart our culture is decaying.
Culture is more than just traditions or festivals; it is the very fabric that holds a society together. It defines who we are, shapes our values, and connects us to our past. Yet, in today’s fast-changing world, this precious fabric is unravelling.
We see it everywhere—the gradual loss of respect for our elders, the fading of age-old customs, and the rise of selfishness and instant gratification.
Social media and technology, while bringing many benefits, have also distanced us from genuine human connections and the rich wisdom of our heritage. In this race toward modernity, we risk losing the very essence that makes us unique.
When respect, kindness, and integrity take a backseat to materialism and superficial success, our society’s foundation weakens.
Our culture isn’t just about rituals it is about the values that guide our behavior, the stories that inspire us, and the lessons passed down through generations.
But this decay is not irreversible. Each one of us has the power and the duty to revive and preserve our culture. It begins with awareness, with choosing to honor our traditions and live by the timeless values of respect, empathy, and community. We must teach the younger generation not just to celebrate our culture, but to live it.
In safeguarding our culture, we protect our identity, our unity, and our future. Let us come together with determination and pride to restore the strength of our cultural heritage.
Thank you.

I have been observing this and feel bad about it. Surely, every individual has their own choices for what they want to follow and what they want to believe in. But does that mean we shouldn't appreciate what we have in our plates?
It's not only about culture or whatever beliefs; we sometimes fail to appreciate what we have and compare ourselves with others.
The point is then, looking at an article on google where they mentioned "places for tourism in India which would seem like you're in foreign" or Kashmir has this place called "mini Switzerland". Since my childhood any of our friends in the group was proud to say "you know this is imported" be it a small chocolate.
I mean. What's the hype? Can't we just name these beautiful places on our own instead of supporting the unnecessary hype for foreigners? Why do our people treat them as celebrities? (I mean look at what is happening at places like Taj Mahal people run to take pictures with foreigners).
Not all of us are doing this, which makes me question just why.
India is such an abundant land and what do we lack? our beauty and our culture is amazing with so many variations that makes it so interesting to have knowledge about.
We should be proud Indians with such abundance and beauty we have and even though after this, everyone has their own choices. But, being thankful and respecting our motherland and not comparing and naming such beautiful places for it is foreign.
It is our very own land and belongs to us.
Thankyou!

Yes, Indian culture is decaying because of our attraction towards foreign culture. It's our habit which makes us feel we are moving away from our roots.
