I am in favour of this topic that our culture is Decaying as we all are forgetting our trends, spirituality and culture, and people are moving to the brands rather to prefer our own culture. And know young generations is more focused on getting likes on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter rather than to gain the knowledge about their culture.

Thank you.

Hello Everyone,

My name is Mahesh Patne,

Today Our Topic is The culture is decaying.

In My Opinion, culture is decaying right now because, now a trend is westerns Cultures like jeans, and small dress and that is day by day increasing those trends. I don't say that Western culture is not too good it is also good but our Indian culture is very good in the world like for example sarees. Etc.

Yes, you all are somewhere right.

I hane another regard that is slowly Indian people are moving towards west culture. I am not saying that western culture is bad but it's our duty to save or to conserve our Indian culture also and we must think about that. Nowadays, people's are addicted to mobile phones, TV, and different modern gadgets which had become the main reason for that people are forgotten their culture.

Hi Friends, First of all, I would like to thank all of you and take this opportunity to say a few words on Indian culture is decaying. India is known for truth, honesty, piece, and spirituality. India is also regarded as Vishva Guru. With the changing times, India is becoming influenced by western culture. Old age, home living, relationships, same-sex marriages, child pregnancy are all the result of western influence. We must adopt good think from the western culture but we should not forget our roots. Our roots are in the Vedas, the Upnisad, and the Geeta and we must respect our elders for all times because that is the real culture of India. Thanks, all.

Hi, friends.

According to me, our culture is decaying. In our day to day life, we see people saying that western culture is so "advanced". We also see people saying that we must always follow the western culture but according to me do we ever see those people follow it themselves? I think not. Whenever I go out of my house the one thing I always notice in the streets is the amount of garbage which is spread on the streets. Now this is not an example of westernization. It is true that western people are much more concerned about cleanliness. There is no harm in following the culture of other nations but if we want to follow it we must do it sincerely. Our forefathers were not like us. They always maintained the cleanliness because of their clear minds or some or the other superstitions. Nowadays the people of our nation have become more rich, more powerful, and more blind to all the moral values. Therefore they do what they want to do and follow their own minds without thinking about the consequences. Therefore I conclude that our culture is decaying and it will certainly decay if we don't take the appropriate measures to stop it.

Our culture is not decaying anyways.

Festivals are an important part of any culture and I think we still celebrate the festivals with the same enthusiasm and fun.

It is just evolution. We are just advancing.

If people kept on thinking the way their forefathers did, the world would never change.

It is just that we are getting modern.

Though we have an impact of western culture on our culture and today's generation but that doesn't mean that our culture is decaying.

Although we wear jeans and skirts but that doesn't mean we have forgotten to wear sarees or suite.

This is just changing and we need to accept it this is just modernization and without it, our country can't develop.

Hi this is Nikhil.

I think that the culture is for the people, people are not for the culture. So the thing which is wrong in our culture, that must be reformed and same thing we are doing with our culture. We are just adopting only those things from the western culture, which is good for us.

Example: Our old culture says that we should not allow our girls to study but that is not good for us so we just reformed it.

Our old culture also says that we should respect our elders and we are doing. Yes, I accept it that the way of respecting has been changed but we are doing.

No, I don't think so. Culture is something that must and will change with generations. Just because it changes doesn't mean its decaying. You see people do things that bring comfort and increases their well-being. Back in those days, people used to wear this and sarees. But in today's generation is wearing jeans and skirts. It is because they are more comfortable to work with, takes less time to wear, easier to maintain and also have the ability to hold stuff (pockets). Now do this and sarees are worn in functions as they are more elegant.

The argument that "children don't respect their parents nowadays, they watch tv whole day" are from a point of view when they (parents) were kids. I am pretty sure that they have also got such comments from their parents (this is called juvenile). Yes, it is true that we are becoming more nuclear families, but it is because we have enough resources to live independent.

If you see countries like Japan they are more cultured and orthodox than us but have embraced western technology and fashion more than us (in fact they pioneered in technology).

So what I say is embrace what is good and leave what is bad. Develop our culture guys and girls :).

Hello Everyone,

Today of our topic for the discussion is Our Culture is Decaying.

Let's first talk about what culture really means. It means perspective, practices, and products. The perspective of the people, practices in which they are involved, and products mean what we make and take.

Our culture is decaying not just because people in our country are more attracted to Western culture, but because of a lack of knowledge and guidance. We feel happier after accepting other cultures. And I feel that it's just a matter of time before we forget the value of our scriptures, the value of our cultural activities, our traditions, and our values as well. And if we don't take any immediate steps for it, I am afraid to tell you that we might lose our real culture and will be replaced by someone else's values and culture.

Therefore, I strongly believe that this time we need to come together to figure out how we are going to deal with this and what possible course of action we can take to handle this situation.

Now I have given the overview of the topic, feel free to share your perspective and make the meeting a successful discussion.

Firstly, I welcome you all.

It is our only culture who welcomes every single person to openly share his thoughts, and makes changes for themselves according to his/her own comfort. It is only our culture who taught to bow down to our elders. And it is our culture which says do change if the change is good for you and for society. And it is our culture who says to change a society you have to change yourself irst, on your mind level. Swami Vivekananda says" for you own and nation growth you have to adopt Indian culture but also have to learn from Western how they open in their thoughts, decisions, innovations, and in equality". So clothes and web are not decaying our culture, our culture depends on our own thoughts and who we really are.

Conclusion- our culture is not decaying, it is upon us to make our culture more better than it is.
