Hi friends the topic women quota bill in women empowerment. It sense good thing. I support women quota bill. Because of in India there is a minority of women, as a serve of 2013 the ratio between men and women is 1000 : 950. It means only for 1000 boys there will available only 950 girls who get involved in future partner. However many people think women is only for the domestic type of work in which they can survive as a house wife. So they want to join jobs.
But they are not able to join just because of family requirement. So we have to change our thought against women. Because they can do any type of work. There is no difference between men and women. Just looked out the tenis player Sania Mirza. She got many gold meddles just because of her hard work and from fully family support. So there are so many example who always say the value of women.
Thank you.

According to my point of view women reservation bill is not necessary because they are no more lag behind their male counter part in terms of job quality. In all sphere of life they are doing job side by side.
But what they need this time is a safe and secure environment and respect. In recent year growing crime against women creating sense of apprehension in parents mind too and do not all their daughter to go in other cities for job or education purpose.
As per as reservation is concerned then I think, it is bad concept to give reservation on the basis of cast or gender. This creates sense of frustration, dissatisfaction, dissemination among those candidate who are better but deprived of the award for their hard work what they deserved to. There should be given only financial support to all who are poor irrespective of their cast and gender.

As per my view's yes it is important to provide the reservation to woman. However, this should be applied in rural area's where the position of woman's is very low. In compare to the city, the rural aria is very far from the originality. The girl's are not educated or the people don't send there girls to school although there are many reason behind it but the rural area's really need the reservation kind help. In the developed city the woman are doing good and they have jobs too.
The woman empowerment means to provide the facility or equality to woman which is already have male like freedoms so that they can evolve in India's growth but not given the power through which they can destroy the society. We have seen a lot of cases where woman are using there right's in wrong way's. So we should not take fast decision to provide the power woman.

According to me, reservation for women is unnecessary. Because reservation meant for weak people like discriminated people and physically challenged (handicapped, blind). Many people who are talented &skilled will work hard to achieve their goals& aspirations. But because of this reservations they will be frustrated, disseminated of their unsatisfied goals.
In the present world, girls are giving good compact to men in every aspect of the life. They are capable of taking their decisions that they know what is good/bad for them. If govt wants do something for women provide them safety& security that we need to respect them.
Parents worried about their daughter to send out of city for job or education due to lack of security so we need to provide safe environment. They are able to do anything & have strong determination toward their goals.

Hi all,
I strongly agree with our friend Shiv. But, the women's reservation bill is primarily about the 33% reservation for women in the Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha and the Legislative Assemblies, where they have less presence on a relative scale. I think that is logical.
Even after women being at par with men in several platforms, still there is certain discrimination in case of employment, promotions, education, etc in the real world scenario and we all know it. Whether we accept it or not, that is a subjective issue. Still there is girl child killings.
So, according to me no single policy can bring about a great change. The reservation bill along with strict legal actions in case of crimes against women can bring change. But, as for now, as we know, this bill is stalled due to lack of consensus in the Lok Sabha.

In my opinion there should no reservation for women because every woman is capable of doing anything. Now a days they are also getting the education along with men. Rather giving the reservation we should encourage those people who are not giving the education or opportunity of not doing the job. Government should give education to those people who are not getting the education due to lack of money so that they can also apply for job.
Giving reservation to SC/ST/OBC is not the solution because due to this right candidates are not getting the chance who are struggling a lot. What is use of giving quota in medical field if they have not studied enough else give the chance to those who really have studied hard to get admission in MBBS etc. What would that person will do if they do know what to do?

Hello, guys.
The numerical quota system cannot bring the good we are trying to bring in the society rather it creates turbulence and give rise to terms like reverse discrimination, preference based system is more justifiable because it will not lock the numbers and at the same time it will reduce the disparity any institution have and will leverage the diversity (take gender here) , like if there is sheer lack of female population in any field, a preference will be given but quality and talent will always be a parameter and on the other hand preferences will be given to the needy (I mean to exempt the big public figures, or politicians family tree) this system will not let the people exploit this policy who are already empowered or the people who create a dummy representation in shadow of quota.

Hi, I am Sudhakar, I am going to speak in favour the topic.
Yes, we require a quota bill for women empowerment,
Especially in India, women are still struggling to get basic rights in India. They are getting humiliated in many ways. There are many woman quotas already exist in India, still women are not getting equality in the society. There is the necessity to implement an effective women quota bill to give them equality and for their serviceability.
Women are working equality to men, still we are underestimating them, women are not getting jobs everywhere as men, just because they are women. In poor families, most of the girls not getting the basic education system, government to should come forward to implement a strong quota for women to give them equality and make them educated.

We all know that women and men are equally capable of doing a work. Girls have topped in many exams this it self prove their capabilities. So they don't require a quota for them what they need is equal opportunities.
If they are given equal opportunities they will automatically grab their worth reasons why they are not getting equal opportunities are.
1) Narrow minded society: Some people think that females are only made for doing household work. So even though government Is providing scholarship for education of women then also they are allowing their girl child to get education.
Instead of focusing on quota we should focus on launching awareness programme promote education for all. Women should also know their rights and shouldn't allow any one exploit them.

Hmmmmm. So what I think is. Ya many of you people said that we have been equal. And all. I do agree.
We women can compete with you. We are growing everywhere. We dot need reservation. Our parents are sensible. They can satisfy us with our basic needs including education. We thought at this point how we live.
Everyone knows that's not the case with below the poverty line or poor people. So they may take initiative to make their male child educated. But they don't to their daughters.
Though those girl dreams to be something. To stand somewhere. She has the power to compete. But not resources.
So RESERVATION SHOULD BE GIVEN WHERE IT IS NEEDED.
SAME APPLIES TO MINORITY THING IF THEY ARE POOR. GIVE THEM SEATS. IF THEY ARE NOT DONT SPOIL SOMEONES LIFE. DREAMS.
