In my opinion women reservation is not necessary, what necessary is attitude of persona towards women. They are considered to be weak and not able to do outside work. They spent all the life in just making food and doing all other household work. Then tell me even if reservation will be provided to women their condition is not going to improve b/c our attitude towards them.

I want to give an example -according to company bill it is made compulsory to have atleast one women in the group of directors but according to SEBI about 1/3rd company does not have any women director upto 31st march. So on the basis of above e.g I can say we need to change our perception towards women rather than bringing new legislation to provide them reservation.

In my my point of view, there should be quota for indigent women who belong to 'backward classes. Many people think that 2015 is a male chauvinism free century, but is actually not. Even today, in some regions women are paid less than men for doing the same amount of work. Some places in India have not even progressed since 50 years, they still immure their wives and daughters in homes, not allowing them to step outside the home for work.

These things may be prevented by women quota, providing a platform to the women to march into domains which has been previously dominated by men, putting the sexes on equal footing.

This reservation should not be mistaken for injustice, as it is only been done to put the two genders on equal platform.

Empowerment means to give official authority to someone. So, I believe that reservation is not a correct way to empower the women of our society because now a days women are competing men equally in each and every field. Giving reservation to women means we are ignoring their talent. Reservation should only for the minorities and women in our are country are not the minorities.

I think that if we have to empower the women of our society than we have to work in the field of safety for them than automatically it will empower the women. And the last thing is that we the people of our country have to give equal opportunities in the field of education as we give to men because women also play a major role on the development of our country.

According to me reservation system is beneficial in some of the aspects whereas on the other way round it is not so important because all those people who really need these kinds of systems are actually deprived of it. They are not fully accessible to these kinds of system. In urban areas where the situation is much more better than villages there the people are making use of it for example.

In many DU colleges 2 to 4 % cut off has been left for girls. Though their is no as such need to do so because these girls are educated enough to stand for their own selves and fight for their right. Instead of reservation laws for the security and safety of women should be implemented. This itself will only bring a great change in society.

Hi friends,

As we know that reservation means they need some help from government. But now a day's girls are equals as men in every field. Even thought some of the field girl is more talented compare to men. So to give the reservation only those people who actually need for this (handicap widow, old and poor person). Girl's are not capable for the reservation.

There are so many policies running in country for women (security phone number, Kanya Vidya Dhan etc) , which can make women more capable in compere to men. As we know that at this time Dubai have have given the permission to vote, even thought today many country not have permit to vote for women. We have to also give chance to women to take's it's own decision.

Hello everyone,

Now a days girls are equal to the boys. Girls are actively participating in all events than boys. In olden days they were restricted to all events that are in studies, politics etc. They restricted to kitchen only.

In these days they are performing better results in studies and politics. To encourage the women we should give reservation for them. So that they will participate actively instead of permitting to home and one thing that is considerable nowadays is born of girl babies.

People are thinking that a girl baby is burden for family. This is mostly happening in villages. To avoid this there is a reservation for women. So that we can improve the born rate of girl babies.

Hello everyone,

In my opinion, women are now in India are well educated they are give equal competition to men. So I don't think there is need for separate women quota bill. At present time, women are working in biggest place like in research filled, they are working as chief executive in MNC.

At last I would like to say that, as consider whole nation women are equally compete, but still there are some rural area where women are at not good position so government should make policy to improve condition of women by providing safe environment. So women quota bill is not necessary but the policy for improving living standard for rural area women is necessary.

Hello friends I fully appreciate you all. But according to me girls are now all most equal in every aspect of life. Girls are also talented like talented boys. So there is no need of this bill and I would like to say that the knowledge should be considered in case of study, job etc not in the basis of any quota system.

Simultaneously if Govt want to do some thing for women, it should b security because now a days rape, molestation, eve teasing, work place abasement are very much common in our society and it should be reduced as soon as possible. The vision of people towards a women should be changed because they are capable of doing any work done by men.

Hello friends,

My name is Sourabh.

I think that there is no need for any separate quota bill passed on women empowerment.

Because there a lots of opportunity for women as well as men. Now a days girls are standing in front of men and participating in all the fields and in fact we can see that their participation is going more than past time. And if any quota bill is passed then a discrimination is generated among a men and a women and the opportunity for men is also lose by them.

So, instead of such bill, government must make strict rules for the selection of qualified people, and start awareness camps on women education etc.

Hi, friends. Myself Sayooj. The given topic of discussion is very much relevant in this period of time. I would like to take an example of our religious belief of Ardhanareeswara. It shows the universe is formed from women and men. Men always try to dominate women. Is it a good practice? In my opinion, no women have equal right as men. But our mentality has changed and in most of the field, women are not coming forward thinking they can't dominate men. This bill will give women an opportunity to come forward and take the challenge. There are many exemplary women who broke this barrier and came forward like Sunita Williams.
