I am not against the paperproof office.
Buy I have a dilemma like,
Will we remain in the same era without adopting the new technology?
Will we not make our office work more efficiently and work friendly?
Will we not save our environment?
This dilemma is solved as follows.
Every paper costs four rupees and if any drafting is there we are wasting paper.
The paper comes from tree thus by making office without paper will make us eco-friendly.
Speedy action and the process will increase.
We will make our office towards e-literacy.
Though security concern will be there but making security layer tightened and tier basis we can be made it difficult.
Thus, I support paperless office.

Hi, Everyone.
As part of the ongoing discussion, I would like to contribute some points.
I agree with the statement "Paperless office are reality".
As we are moving into the different phase of life the technology is improving at vast ends.
- It has eradicated the traditional paper records.
- Quick and easy access to data which was stored in flocks of sheets.
- Both time and energy of the end user are saved as they do not struggle between paperwork.
Above many advantages, it also has drawbacks which are evitable when proper measures are practiced.
- Hack on data which can leak company confidential information.
- Loss of data when no proper backup is taken.
Thank you.

Answer to this question is Yes. In my opinion paperless office is not the one where paper is not used at all, it refers to office where continous attempts are made to avoid use of paper or recycling of paper. Hard copy of the all the valuable docs are must for their validation as well as for record keeping. Relying upon computers may lead to destruction of data that can't be retrieve at all and that me lead to huge loss to users in terms of their efforts, time & energy. We should make efforts to maximise the use of soft copies of the data. As the time passes we all will get accustomed to it and that will finally result in "Paperless Office".

I think, paperless office is not reality. Because paper work is most important our life. I think we can't handle a job in the office without paper. Some times we feel tiered to do work in computers and other electric machines so can be relaxed we use paper work. The days are moving use of paper is diminishing I agree the all data can store in the form of soft copies in PC's. But we can;t totally avoid the use of paper. It has own importance in our life. Important business letter, appointment letters in the paper form. If office can paper less many people have job less like postmaster. So paper less office is not reality it is also important.

Hello friends,
I consider that paper is using in offices to some extent. But we have not eliminated paper totally from our offices. I think offices are doing a right thing. I would like to tell you that before four month I was reading an interview of expert in IT. He was telling that if we put all the data in our laptop or desktop there is always a risk because hackers hack the site and even some non-registered software demolish all the precious data from our tool. So that we have to use paper to keep important data as a record. From this thing we can clearly recognize that offices can not work without paper.
THANK YOU.

I think paperless office is not a reality, even though in today's world all the works are done on computers but still a hard copy in maintained for it. There are lots of risk also in comparison to its benefits, i.e. from hackers. You can take the example of gate 2013 result which was displayed 2 days before than the expected date and it was all done by a hacker so think if a hacker can hack a government site than my be it is possible that he/she could have a change with the mark sheet of students. So, I would like to say that paper less office is good but implementing it fully can be hazardous for the organisation.

India has lastest youth population in the world who are having knowledge of online world except the few one. Paperless India is an amazing era when there is no need of keeping bundles of files and heap of papers with ourself although with a just click of a button we can able to grab the information easily and conveniently.
In offices, the work will become easy and effective also saves time. Through gadgets, the work burden of officials will reduce and make their life easy.
Delhi government is preparing to go for paperless offices in all departments. If it will come to reality it will surely benefit the country.

Well paperless office can be a reality. It will save the accommodation expenditure done for making store rooms in offices. Saves money of keeping chowkidars especially for those stores. And will prevent all anti-silver fishes spray that is being done once in a year.
2-and for all those things for which paper work is must[such as certificates deal papers and requirement applications]. WE CAN USE SYNTHETIC PAPER from which dollars are made. This is durable and weather invariable. I know it can be bit costly but NOTHING AS COMPARED TO PREVENT THE DISTRACTION OF OUR MOTHER NATURE.

Yes, we definitely need to shift to a paperless world as it is more or less a compensation to save the environment, to save the Earth. Today development has reached a massive scale and in order to save the nature from the hazards of print, we have to make a shift, we have to move to the world which would be free of printed matter. Yes, to a paperless world!
As much as 100 hectares of forest land is cut can daily to meet the demands of newspaper agencies. If this rate of deforestation continues, by the next half of the century about 30, 000 species of plant will be extinct.
