In my perspective India is a vast population area, if you have to implement new idea on that, you should give the experience to the using it. Yes, India will soon have a good amount of EVs. But currently, we are not ready for it. It will take a approximately a decade to have all the resources and facilities like charging centers, long run battery, etc.

Greetings to Everyone,
With reference to the topic that is "Is India ready for Electric Vehicles ".
From my point of view, I think now India is not ready for Electric Vehicles because we don't have the infrastructure of EV's which is needed, like EV charging stations. Also we need to change the Mindset of the peoples who is preferring more, Conventional vehicle rather than electric Vehicles.
My suggestion is government should give subsidies in Electric Vehicle which can encourage the peoples to buy the EV's.
Also, I think government should lower the export tax on EV's let's take an example.
About 18% of export tax are applied on Tesla car of worth Rs. 50 - 70 lakh which is not affordable at all.
Also, I think government should more focus on "Electric vehicles Manufacturing Sector" more by doing this their will no export tax and the vehicle can be affordable for the user.

In my perspective, I really think India could succeed in bringing electric vehicles onto Indian roads, the electric vehicles are the best compared to combustion vehicles and the EV vehicles will not pollute the environment. The main issue here is the sale of combustion vehicles is not at all reducing when the mindset of the people changes only they will buy the EV vehicles until then they will not buy them. I want to mention another point is that the government should tie up with big MNCs and launch EV vehicles in affordable prices and everyone should aware of this also there should be more charging stations.
Points to be noted:
1. Electric vehicles are affordable.
2. More charging stations.
3. And due to the increase in the usage of EV vehicles the generation of electricity should be increased.

Hello! I think India is now ready for Electric Vehicle. Our government is spending a lot of research on how to expand EV market. The infrastructure of India is now at a higher peak. Many highways have been developing in the last 10 years. Also, the Indian government is focusing on charging station availability. In FAME-2 government is providing different schemes to increase the market of EVs.
The government has to focus more on the development of infrastructure in every city.

Hello everyone.
In my point of view, India is not completely ready for EV. In India we have a large population, so we need more electric energy. And we don't have sufficient electric charging infrastructure. Companies like Tata and Mahendra have launched EV vehicles, but still, people are not ready to buy EV vehicles they are choosing petrol and diesel vehicles because of their affordable prices. Therefore, first, we have to overcome these stages and then we can take the NextStep.

Greetings to everyone,
We are here to discuss Is India ready for EVs or not? So, in my point of view, India is not ready for EVs currently but will be in the very future as Our country is growing in solar power systems very fast. And it will come with many job opportunities for the young generation.
Conventional energy sources are running out day by day and polluting the atmosphere as well. It's time to find a path for innovation in future that supports nature. Thank you.

Greetings to everyone!
I am going to share my points on this topic.
In my point of view, India is not ready for electric vehicles because India is one of the largest transport usage nations in EV the distance travelled for a full charge of the battery is less. So we couldn't go for long distances and Indian roads will not be suitable for Ev's. But in the current situation, the fossil fuel rate will increase and it will not be available for our future transportation so we definitely depend on EVs in future but now India is not ready but in future, it will be ready and make some achievements in Ev.

India is making significant strides towards adopting electric vehicles (EVs) through government initiatives like the FAME scheme and the National Electric Mobility Mission Plan, which provide incentives and support for EV buyers and manufacturers. However, the country faces challenges such as insufficient charging infrastructure and the need for power grid upgrades to handle increased loads. While urban areas are seeing a faster deployment of charging stations, rural regions lag. Overall, India is on the path to embracing EVs but requires substantial infrastructure and technological advancements to achieve widespread adoption.
