India is making significant strides towards adopting electric vehicles (EVs) through government initiatives like the FAME scheme and the National Electric Mobility Mission Plan, which provide incentives and support for EV buyers and manufacturers. However, the country faces challenges such as insufficient charging infrastructure and the need for power grid upgrades to handle increased loads. While urban areas are seeing a faster deployment of charging stations, rural regions lag. Overall, India is on the path to embracing EVs but requires substantial infrastructure and technological advancements to achieve widespread adoption.

Good morning,

Yes, India is ready for electric vehicles. There are many advantages of using electric vehicles, it is echo friendly. It reduces air pollution. In India due to fuel vehicles air pollution is very large. Due to Air pollution thousands of deaths occurs. India is ready for this electric evolution but government should focus on this side like establishment of electric vehicles charge station, and price should be less.

As we all know electric vehicles are environment friendly they are not releasing any kind of greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide and methane. According to me, India is ready for electric vehicles because we have seen the demand for electric vehicles increasing year on year and at the same time electric vehicles are also providing them with good features. And I recently read one article in a business standard newspaper which states that companies are also making efforts to increase their efforts towards electric vehicle production. Some names of the companies like.

Maruti Suzuki has a plan to become the biggest electric vehicle producer in all of India including both cars as well as two-wheeler vehicles.

TATA Motors is also planning to separate its entities into two forms or two entities in which one is liable for producing the electric vehicle and the other is liable for producing the fuel vehicle.

So, we can say that India is ready for such tremendous change which also helps our environment.

In my point of view, Today's scenario regarding the facilities of road and vehicles, India is not yet ready for running an electric vehicle. As many of the big cities has now turned into the smart cities so by using This technology, It would really be beneficial for our country only when better road with less traffic is maintained. It is one of the best way to reduce pollution as well as it will improve digitalization providing better efficiency in less time.

According to my point of view.

India is not ready to EVs right now. Because of the cost & certain limitations in transport system. As the cost is high of EVs, people are not aware about the same. The launching models of EVs need to do some improvement for better performance. As we can travel with petrol /diesel vehicle as long much we can due to easy process of filling petrol n diesel while on other side we can't go more than 250 km in single charging time was almost 6-7 hrs even if we replace the batteries the cost and weight of vehicles will goes on increasing.

According to me, there is a lot of hope. Reasons are as follows.

1. I see a lot of tuk-tuk three wheelers electric rikshaw out in the city. These vehicles are profitable to run as passanger vehicle.

2. We have a lot of electric vehicle charging stations. And the slow charging issue is being resolved by fast charging technologies.

3. We belong to such a country that never stops before any sudden change. We are habituated to accept changes in every field. Then I must say, that other issues will also be resolved if electrical vehicles are promoted.

Undoubtedly, India needs an electric vehicle. Today's scenario in Delhi is the best example. Onside India is Trying to recover from 2nd wave of COVID. The other side is air pollution in Delhi. Due to carbon emission in fossil fuels, the area is polluted leads to a lot of acute and chronic diseases. So the central govt made a special rule to undergo lockdown for 20 days. This made people mentally I'll. The other side compulsory use of green vehicles in Delhi to reduce pollution. Yes, India is needed for e-vehicle. Already, Two-wheelers and rickshaws are started manufactured. The reduction of carbon emission by the use of vehicles can be one best solution. Also, the cost of vehicles can be minimized so that middle-class people can afford it. There is noise generation. It can run smoothly. We conclude that e-vehicle is needed for the next coming young generation to prevent the resources from pollution and green earning.

Hello! I think India is now ready for Electric Vehicle. Our government is spending a lot of research on how to expand EV market. The infrastructure of India is now at a higher peak. Many highways have been developing in the last 10 years. Also, the Indian government is focusing on charging station availability. In FAME-2 government is providing different schemes to increase the market of EVs.

The government has to focus more on the development of infrastructure in every city.
