I believe India is on the right path toward adopting electric vehicles, but there are still challenges to address. Infrastructure development, especially reliable charging stations across cities and highways, is essential. On the positive side, government initiatives like FAME and “Make in India” are boosting local manufacturing and reducing dependency on imports. However, public awareness and affordability remain key—many people are still unaware of the long-term benefits of EVs. With more education, financial support, and a shift to cleaner energy sources like solar and wind, EVs can drive India toward a greener and more sustainable future.

So yes, with consistent efforts, India is getting ready for the EV revolution.

According to my opinion, in India, there are several people merely I focus on villages there are villages in many other people they are also is less than 18 they are using tobacco and mini villages all are selling them so in India there are lack of knowledge in villages selling without knowing its effect and its causes so there are minimum age of selling India is 18 and they are don't know how to use it they are using it.

We may be fond of using EV for some days but later it will contribute some negative consequences because of electricity, it will turn into a risky factor due to overcharged.

Good evening everyone.
I think there are two perspective one is rural part and one is metro-cities of Bharat. Pollution in metro cities is a very big problem that can be reduced with the help of EV vehicles.
As there are sufficient charging stations in metro cities, if people from that city start using EV vehicles will surely cut their cost of travel and will help in reducing the pollution but this is not same for rural areas.
There are no charging stations in those areas but if people start charging their vehicle at home can help in that way also.
So the current scenario is the vehicle must be dual fuel like EV+ Petrol/diesel or the owner should have two different vehicles one for intra city travel and one for intercity travel. Bharat is moving in a right direction but too slow.
Thank you.

Hello everyone.

I think that India is ready for electric vehicles because we always know the two main crises while using normal vehicles such as cars, bikes, buses, scooters, lorries, autorickshaws and so on.

Here they are;

1) The rising prices of petrol and diesel are increasing day by day.
2) Global warming and all environmental-related problems.

Electric vehicles are environmentally friendly and cause no harm. But at the same time, we are not 100% ready to use e-vehicles.

I think EV has growing demand in India due to its faster operations ,less air pollution and noise pollution than other petrol driven vehicle .Various companies are now shifting to EV's like TATA, Mahindra, etc.

One major concern is that there are less charging stations in India right now and it is very costly for a common man to afford those charges.

To increase the demands of EV ,various campaigns programs are organised during the year like Hero started a bike festival.

Through social media network also ,EV promotion is highly encouraged nowadays by various automobile companies to increase their productivity.

Good evening everyone,

Thank you for giving me this opportunity.

In my opinion on this topic, India is ready for EV, right?

Partially yes, Reality India chose the right direction, but it is not fully ready for EV.

EV adoption has both positive and negative impacts.

The positive side of EV adoption is that it will reduce pollution and global warming problems. Also, the government gives several bonuses to adopt an EV vehicle.

Reduce tax prices, introduce FARM II. It will increase EV vehicle adoption.

The negative side of this EV adoption:

Still, not all people are aware of this. In rural areas, people cannot afford a battery pack and do not travel long distances, and also face heavy heat problems.

So, give proper awareness to people and install multiple battery stops in every petrol bunk.

Thank you.
