Good Afternoon everyone,
I am Shalini.
Yes, India is ready to be free from pollution and towards modern technology. Most of the central government buildings have electrical charging ports. They give initiatives to other publics in society. They are not posting more advertisements on television than they do in their performance. More rural people are likely to get e-vehicles. Most of businessman are ready to give loans to start-up businesses based on their e-vehicles with good problem-solving skills.

Hello everyone.
Yes, I firmly believe that India is ready for electric vehicles.
As the world's leading populated country where pollution is a major problem that can be resolved by the use of EV motors to some extent. Ev major problem is with the battery which is made up of lithium and recently India found a large amount of lithium ore in Jammu Kashmir. This will surely give rise in EVs. The road construction is also managed by our transportation minister Nitin Gadkari who plans to increase the use of EVs in the country. Lots of investments are made by the government and many companies such as Tesla, Tata, Maruti, and so on are working day and night to make it affordable and reliable. Hope we see a new India and pollution-free India.
Thank you.

Good morning everyone!
I am S. Vaishnavi hailing from Hyderabad.
As a developing nation i.e. India needs reform to develop and be competitive country to other countries, in my words, India is not ready for Electric vehicles. If the government is trying to introduce Electric vehicles in India it must be noted that in our country majority of people do not have much knowledge of electric vehicles, lack of electricity charging banks, lack of electricity workshops, and electric vehicles are a bit expensive which below poverty line people cannot afford it. When we speak about rural areas we can see regular power cuts and poor road conditions which doesn't support electric vehicle drive. So, I conclude India needs a decade to clear all the problems and to invite electric vehicles onto the roads.
Thank you.

In my point of view, India was not ready for the electric vehicle. Because it was the initial stage of the electric vehicle. In India there rural areas power cut happens and there are no charging sections for electric vehicles. For these reasons it India was not ready for this. Although the government pushes and helps to electric vehicles for pollution. Also government helps in lower the rate of loans for electric vehicles but India's infrastructure not ready for this. Also, most of people have problems about the Range of electric vehicles. There was no charging station for the vehicle. If a person travels a long rout then they may face challenges. There I think India was not ready for it.

Very Good Evening Everyone.
In my point of view, India was not ready for electric vehicles because it was the initial stage of the electric vehicle. In India, there are rural areas where still power cut happens and there are no charging sections for electric vehicles. For these reasons, I think that India was not ready for electric vehicles for the next 3 or 4 years.
But yeah electric vehicles reduces the sound pollution and as well as air pollution.

Hello all,
I would like to put my thoughts here by stating that we are not 100% ready to go all-electric. Various reasons are that people really enjoy driving petrol and diesel engines because it is affordable and also much easier to maintain. If India has to go all-electric there should be more awareness of how E vehicles could be a value add to the environment as well. Now let us talk about the pricing of electric vehicles they are priced much higher than a normal petrol/ diesel engine. The cost of the battery is 40 to 50% of the vehicle cost which makes it even more expensive to maintain it.
We should work on infrastructure, Supply chain on how to manufacture and sell it at affordable prices, ease of use, and convenience of battery charging plants last. we are in the beginning of an era of EVs but this will take much longer than we can ever imagine.

Hello, everyone! this is Aakash.
According to me, India is not ready for electric vehicles, because there are many areas where there is a power cut for many hours in that situation how can a person ready for EV?
Secondly, EV prices cannot be afforded by everyone, due to low income, and EV price range is high.
To bring EV, country should have good infrastructure, charging points and good roads so that the battery can have good life.

I think India is not ready for EVs. EV takes 8hr of charging depending upon the model. As our population is high, there are not enough charging points (infrastructure) to charge our EVs on top of that it takes more time (conventional vehicles take 2-3 min of refueling). We can install charging points for our cars in our parking area but it will cost more money and not everyone has their parking.
As our technology is developing, charging time will be less in the coming times. At that time India may be ready for EVs.

Good morning everyone;.
I think that India wants pollution free country this will happen only when we reduce the consumption of cured oils like petrol, diesel, etc.
Some fossil fuels which impact our nation with soil pollution, air pollution, water pollution. Due to this they are so many disease was impact our upcoming generation especially toddlers. So when we use electric vehicles we see India has a pollution free country. On other hand, the cost EC vehicles is expensive compared the fossil vehicles but we importunate the EC vehicles fro other country instead of this the EC vehicles was made of lithium so in India the lithium metal is found that in jammu&kashmir state so in India the car company like Tesla, Tata was trying to reduce the cost of the EC vehicles so that everyone should buy a EC vehicles at their affordable range.
Hope that we see India with electric vehicles.

India is in preparation stage of Electric vehicles. Significant research is going on in India regarding Electric Vehicle. Many automobile companies such as Mahindra, and Tata have launched EV cars and trucks as well. But we are still completely not ready because of the lack of EV infrastructure. We need more charging. Nothing significant has been done in this regard. Another thing is storing electrical energy is a very tough challenge. Research is going on but nothing much has come out yet.
