Good Afternoon!

I'm Lokesh Palaiya. As the topic of discussion is "whether India is ready for Electric Vehicles or not".

As per the current scenario, India as a developing Nation gradually gaining its momentum in order to sustain or declare Itself Vishvguru (World Power). If we talk about like Electric Vehicle sector out of many. According to the United Nations and other government and private newsletters, we have come to know that vehicles completely operated on Petrol and diesel are prime to consume vast amount of energy resources and as a result making our environment filled with numerous types of diseases caused by pollution such noise pollution, air pollution and water pollution during crude stage. In this contest, Each and every developed and developing economy are trying it's hard to go completely carbon less for Which Indian PM Modi has a mandate or vision to make India Carbon free till 2030 in order to have completed his ambitions Government has come up with discerning and insightful schemes to subsidize Private Vehicle manufacturing companies If they produce the targeted amount of vehicles as per the govt requisite and sale it to the consumer. But recently we are some issues in adopting EVs because of the high cost of battery which usually takes around 22-24 hours for a full charge. And issues like lack of EV stations cause they are only available in highly economically stable metropolitan cities such as Mumbai, Bengaluru, Delhi and Kolkata but not even a single trace of station in Tier 2 or Tier 3 cities.

Thank You.

Yeah, in my opinion, the Indian government is ready for the introduction of e-vehicles because of the greatest technology in the automobile industry. As we are one of the developing countries in the world we also have an idea of introducing e-vehicles and in order to introduce such vehicles, our government has also planned to restructure the ways of transportation.

One of the major advantages of e-vehicle is that it reduce the pollution and also increases the electric power production in the country.

Electric vehicles give us lots of benefits, and they can help us reduce pollution in our country compared to the petrol we use.

Electric vehicles are beneficial for people because they are not so expensive, the vehicle battery is approximately down after 1 day, and they are used to save petrol and coal and help the environment with greener.

In my point of view, India is not ready for electric vehicles. Because India is a developing nation. It has a lack of infrastructure for EVs. Roads are not suitable for running electric bikes or any other vehicles.

Secondly, younger people will not show interest in purchasing electricity because they will not fulfil their needs of them. Youngsters love racing bikes or cars. Electric bikes or cars have lacking in speed.

Hi everyone,

According to me, electric vehicle is needed for everyone because it reduce cost of fuel, avoid noise, and it producted for pollution. So, electric vehicle is good for every people.

Many reasons have been stated before this post, but I disagree with some of them as I don't think that India is ready for electric vehicles. Some of my friends have stated that because of the population we should move to EVs, but there are many other constraints too that matter a lot like do we have the proper infrastructure like charging points for these vehicles. If it will be planned that the charging stations will be made, then do we have that much area because there are many people in India who still don't have a place to live, the shelter for them. First-of-all, the Indian govt should facilitate them, and then think of EVs until then we can rely on CNGs which is a good option as per the present scenario and also we have CNG filling stations which ready to use.

Another reason why we should not go for EVs is that India is a developing country, so its citizens need speed which these EVs are not able to fulfil. They (public transport EVs) run max at the speed of 45kmph which is not enough. These vehicles need proper maintenance whereas nowadays, various brands are launching vehicles that need minimum maintenance. Also, EVs need minimum 3-4 hrs to charge and also they get discharged after every 200 km. So it's not a deal of profit or any kind of benefit.

So, from my point of view, India is not ready for EVs.

Thanks.

Hi, My name Raja.

Happy morning everyone,

My topic is ready for EV in India, the EV smooth operation and reduction for pollution and a safe environment.
The more benefits in EVs so people like the E vehicle. The future use of vehicle connection for the mobile is an implied condition.

Resources and development:
Day-by-day resources the Battery management. This one of the issues is clear the E vehicle is 200 percent used the people in the World.

Thank you.

Jai Hind everyone.

I'm Kowsalya Nakka.

As My thought, India is not yet ready for E-vehicles.

1. Scarcity of electricity because of highly populated.
2. No manufacturing company in India as per EV.
3. It's better to discuss about EV after this decade. Because India needs development.

Thank you.

According to the situation of rising prices of petrol, and increasing pollution, the best solution is to be ready to adopt E-Vehicles. Although the point I had read is that the problem which has been pending for decades should be resolved first increasing pollution, rising prices of petrol, and affordability are also the part of problem. Many Automobile industries are launching E-Vehicle therefore we can say that India is ready to adopt, even customers are also increasing major in developed cities like Pune Banglore. As we earlier had thought CNG cars would be adopted or not but now, most of the people for cabs, even for personal use are using CNG cars therefore India is ready to adopt Electric vehicles.

Hello everyone.

I want to express my thoughts on "Is India ready for Electric Vehicles" To proceed with this let's first go with its pros and cons. EVs have an edge on other types of vehicles (like vehicles which run on petrol, and diesel) when it comes to the emission of harmful gases and the same can be applied to EVs, as the battery of a vehicle can also be responsible for the Land and soil degradation. Now to come into topic is India ready for EVs? I would say it is not.

Firstly, the period for charging an E-Vehicle is longer than other type of vehicles.
Secondly, Charging points are not accessible in remote areas of our nation which may destroy long-ride excitments as well as impact EV Markets.
And finally, our ever-increasing population make it practically harder than refuelling any other type of vehicle.

Let me conclude by saying, that we are still in the early stage of implementation of EVs but not in a stage for full implementation of it in a very large scale.
As the implementation should done slowly but surely, and surely will be ready in the upcoming years.
