India is getting ready, brick-by-brick, for an unprecedented EV revolution. The foundation has been laid by e-rickshaws & two-wheelers.
Now, e-cars & OEMs have a huge role to play. As more & more charging stations & points are being installed, range anxiety amongst consumers is decreasing and we can expect a gradual increase in EV sales.

Yes, It is required in India as there is lot pollution in India it distrubs our ecosystem for there recovery we need e- vehicles as it is cost effective as we can charge battery by solar panels and by use of other natural resources.

Hi, Myself Sagnik Roy, and I am from Kolkata.
For this topic about the electric vehicle I would like to say that yeah it is a good solution against fuel shortage or fuel based vehicles and according to this modern world it will be really helpful for many people who love cars etc but the mileage of that car is not acceptable but is our country ready for this upgradation. I would say yes because in our country there a lot of metropolitan cities where already many electric stations are installed but one thing I think we need to keep in mind that how the electricity comes that matters most because how we are gonna make electricity effects that how much we can afford or produce EV. And one point I would like to add is that still in our country there are lots of areas where the environment is not fully ready for this EV. There we can't get any station for charging which is why I think we need some time to be fully ready for EV.
That's all from my side, Thank you!

I think India is not ready for EVs. EV takes 8hr of charging depending upon the model. As our population is high, there are not enough charging points (infrastructure) to charge our EVs on top of that it takes more time (conventional vehicles take 2-3 min of refueling). We can install charging points for our cars in our parking area but it will cost more money and not everyone has their parking.
As our technology is developing, charging time will be less in the coming times. At that time India may be ready for EVs.

India is in preparation stage of Electric vehicles. Significant research is going on in India regarding Electric Vehicle. Many automobile companies such as Mahindra, and Tata have launched EV cars and trucks as well. But we are still completely not ready because of the lack of EV infrastructure. We need more charging. Nothing significant has been done in this regard. Another thing is storing electrical energy is a very tough challenge. Research is going on but nothing much has come out yet.

No. India is not ready for EV because in many cities there is no charging station everywhere. So this is not used in India.

Hai friends.
My opinion, In case India release tha electrical vehicle lot of changing station was needed because the battery charging time issues has occurs.

Good Afternoon!
I'm Lokesh Palaiya. As the topic of discussion is "whether India is ready for Electric Vehicles or not".
As per the current scenario, India as a developing Nation gradually gaining its momentum in order to sustain or declare Itself Vishvguru (World Power). If we talk about like Electric Vehicle sector out of many. According to the United Nations and other government and private newsletters, we have come to know that vehicles completely operated on Petrol and diesel are prime to consume vast amount of energy resources and as a result making our environment filled with numerous types of diseases caused by pollution such noise pollution, air pollution and water pollution during crude stage. In this contest, Each and every developed and developing economy are trying it's hard to go completely carbon less for Which Indian PM Modi has a mandate or vision to make India Carbon free till 2030 in order to have completed his ambitions Government has come up with discerning and insightful schemes to subsidize Private Vehicle manufacturing companies If they produce the targeted amount of vehicles as per the govt requisite and sale it to the consumer. But recently we are some issues in adopting EVs because of the high cost of battery which usually takes around 22-24 hours for a full charge. And issues like lack of EV stations cause they are only available in highly economically stable metropolitan cities such as Mumbai, Bengaluru, Delhi and Kolkata but not even a single trace of station in Tier 2 or Tier 3 cities.
Thank You.

Yeah, in my opinion, the Indian government is ready for the introduction of e-vehicles because of the greatest technology in the automobile industry. As we are one of the developing countries in the world we also have an idea of introducing e-vehicles and in order to introduce such vehicles, our government has also planned to restructure the ways of transportation.
One of the major advantages of e-vehicle is that it reduce the pollution and also increases the electric power production in the country.

Electric vehicles give us lots of benefits, and they can help us reduce pollution in our country compared to the petrol we use.
Electric vehicles are beneficial for people because they are not so expensive, the vehicle battery is approximately down after 1 day, and they are used to save petrol and coal and help the environment with greener.
