There are both merits and demerits of this topic.

Meris :

In today's generation technology is used in every field of our life. And it plays an important role in our life. By the use of technologies, there are many apps are launched like Paytm. Phonepay. Google. Facebook. Linkedin etc. That helps us very much. Everything is going easy with the help of these apps.

Demerits :

The demerits of technology is in the field of unemployment because with the increase in technology there is a shortage of works which increases unemployment and there is hard work for trying to making robots by which unemployment is increasing.

Finally, the impacts of technology on jobs have merits and demerits both.

We, humans, are growing in every aspect of life day by day, as technology is also growing with us or faster than our growth.

In the olden days, humans were more self-standing and due to the technological phase, humans are more dependable on technology and became lazy.

Technology is a double-edged sword. It has more advantages and more disadvantages.

Technology expands the innovations of the world, and duties make easy, and time-consuming is practically possible. Still, at the same time, technology limits the thinking capacity, and intelligence quotient, reducing interpersonal relationships and communication.

In my opinion, technology has created new jobs in every field and will always create jobs in future for example employment in IT sector, Employment in the automobile sector, Employment in civil, Management and more.

All these sectors have employment only due to technology evolution with time.

Now talking of AI (artificial intelligence) yes this can create unemployment but what about its future, its merits. AI is going to be the future and definitely, it will create employment on a very large scale.

Like engineering has a lot of technical job at present, in future AI will also provide great job opportunities.

Think how the internet has created jobs, the internet is also a technology, and it has changed our life, Mass media technology is related to internet provides employment.

Think of how Railway technology, Aeronautical technology has created a huge amount of jobs, this is only because of scientific knowledge which was used practically what we call as technology.

For one second think of dairy technology, space technology, weapon technology and more all these create employment.

Even before industrial evolution (1720-1840) people have a negative opinion about it that it will create unemployment but reality is in front of us today.

Advantages:
1. Search for a job using Technology.
2. Learn new skills for a new job.
3. Reduce the labor of employees.
4. Time consuming and accuracy in work.

Disadvantage:

1. Using the automated machine, robot, artificial intelligence instead of humans.

Solutions:

1. Learn new skills for a new job.
2. Invent new Technology.

Technology is a boon not a curse. Technology is the evolution of the country. Nowadays technology changes everything that sitting in home we are accessing many tasks such as bank account issues, booking tickets in online etc. Automation technology has made it dam easy to each and every individual that sitting in the office we can operate our home appliances like switching on the rice cooker, air conditioner etc. In my view increasing technology means increasing in the machinery. This reduces the burden of man. Nowadays artificial intelligence came into existence that the data can be stored very easily. This impacts mainly on job because previously this work is done by the people but technology is increased now every thing is accessible by machines. I don't think that jobs are not existing NO there exists but due to this growing technology the people don't have a proper awareness on the technologies and this is the main problem which are facing by each and every individual. So in my view impact of technology on jobs is true for some extent.

Today's topic is Impact of Technology on Jobs so there are some positive as well as negative points are there. But firstly, I would like to say that Technology is not reducing jobs.

Now will discuss about positive points:

Technology helps in reducing time and efforts for certain work.

With the help of technology we can to tasks very rapidly.

No risk of life in certain risky jobs like mining and construction.

Some works are there which human beings can't do efficiently but technology does this with the help of robots.

As rise in technology takes place AI is introduced we need more persons for data handling and other purposes.

Not much physical efforts are required.

We can save our time and energy and also productivity is also increased.

More opportunities of jobs are there in technical jobs.

Nowadays in all fields technology is introduced so more jobs are there.

Due to technology, production cost is also reduced.

Now we will see demerits:

First disadvantage of technology is it is making human lazy no physical work is there then it affects on health. And also stress is increasing.

Change in lifestyle.

Only skilled workers get job in technology unskilled workers are replaced by them.

But we can overcome this demerits too by offering skills to the unskilled peoples and by changing our lifestyle.

In my opinion, technology gets a lot of impact on jobs. During the pandemic, a lot of people is miss using Technologies in the wrong way. But these technologies make the work easier in the employee's life. Using technology is not bad but miss using the Technologies is a very bad thing. These technologies are making human work easy and it saves time of the people.

I want to share an example in the pandemic period, during college placement some of my friends are giving their interviews and exams in a proxy way. It is not fair for the students who prepared well for exams and interviews there lost the chance at jobs. So please use the Technologies in a useful manner in any field these technologies are developing in our day-to-day life.

As we are living in the 21st century and new technology is coming day by day. And also it has its own merits and demerits in getting the job:

MERITS:
1. Reduction in Cost of labour.
2. Time-consuming.
3. Error happening in the industry is less.
4. Economy growth.

DEMERITS:
1. Due to the increase in automatic machines unemployment is increasing.
2. Dependency on machines is blindly followed by the organization.
3. Less chances of getting jobs in any era.

Automation means that where machine handles their task by itself, some automated machines are ATM, humanoid robot etc;

There are some automated technologies are:

1. Artificial intelligence, where the computer thinks like human such as perception, reasoning, thinking, common sense, natural language etc.

2. Autonomous and non-autonomous vehicles, Vehicle is derived without any human.

3. 3D printing: It is a process of manufacturing three-dimensional solid object from digital files.

I am supporting the argument that if automation of technology produces more jobs as they reduce. According to research, If automated technique will eliminate 1. 8 billion jobs in 2020 so it will produce 2. 3 billion new jobs.

There are so many engineering colleges in our country and most of the engineers or skilled people are either unemployed or working in the non-technical firm because of lack of opportunities in their field. This automated technology will provide opportunities for the youth of India.

After the invention of the ATM machine, all person's whether they are skilled or unskilled are using properly make their life easy and flexible otherwise for performing any banking activities they face lots of trouble such as waiting in the queue, waiting for time etc.

Technology in the current era has a major impact on the jobs, the impacts are positive and negative as well.

First of all, technology is proving a great value for the companies by reducing the total cost and time incurred by them for the completion of any particular work. Technology also leads to more standardisation in the quality of products and services offered by the companies.

But, on the hand, technology cannot be used until someone has a great knowledge and skills for it. While a senior lot of people of India are not so much familiar with these modern days gadgets and technology, the advancement in technology also reduces the no of people required to do a particular job causing a reduction in the employment. It also leads to less movement of the human body which leads to a lack of fitness and promotes obesity which is not good at all.
