Impact of Social Networking Sites

As we know, everything has its pros and cons, and social media is no different. When it comes to the pros, social media makes building networks among people easier and communication more convenient. It's especially beneficial for students who might not be able to afford expensive education, as they can learn almost anything through platforms like e-learning websites, YouTube, and more.

However, there are also cons to using social media. The misuse of information and the rise of cyberbullying are becoming more common these days. Additionally, students may spend too much time on social media, which can lead to distractions from their studies.

There two sides of Social networking sites:

It includes its pros as well as its cons. Nowadays almost everybody is on social media. It can create a positive or negative for individuals. If we talk about the positive it is a source of entertainment, People can relax their selves by watching very relatable reels or watching their loved ones dance or show their talent on the platform. But it can be more dangerous if we keep scrolling through our reels for hours there is no logic to spend your time or waste your time on a site which is not even beneficial. It is just a source of entertainment.

We take WhatsApp as an example it is a chatting app or site, that consists of limitations as well as entertainment, If you are feeling bored you can view the status of your known people, and you can upload a status also. The main motive is to communicate with the people as easily as it is possible here. The status can be uploaded for 24 hours only after that it will be removed by default. So, these are the restrictions it causes which can be taken as a positive sign.

Hi to all, Social networking is growing in fast way, and it has also been showing its prowess with its advantages, yet it does come with some disadvantages. It has huge potential, yet with flaws, it has helped and grown with us. As we grew up, the essence of this industry has played a huge role, from just connecting with friends to connecting your colleagues and also connecting with new people.

The best example is Linked In, the Adult version of Instagram with formalities.

There is no such way to not use it now, as people might think you are not knowledgeable enough to understand, in some way bullying to join these platforms, and it is nothing but a hole with no end to it.

It is best to stay within limits and know when, where and why to use it, as well as where it may help.

The pros of social networking sites are that they are independent to use, as well as they give facility to us to share our thoughts or the latest news via blogs and important articles. We are sharing to get the reaction from the people suffering over the internet so it is one of the points. And the cons is, it depends on us how we can use these sites. Many people watch bad things, scrolling reels on the sites that lead to moving them towards the wrong direction, that's an impact to their lives.

Social media have both pros and cons. It depends upon how we choose to use it. It has a lot of pros like connecting with people, family members etc, Technology is updated well nowadays everyone uses their phone for everything. Without technology, we can't live our life. Because all our needs are fulfilled by using technology like online shopping, online education, and news readings in news apps. These are the pros of social media. At the same time, it has some cons like someone collects our data and uses it wrongly. Gather our photos on social media and edit our photos as wrong. It is a bad thing. And elders are not aware of social media some people easily scam them.

In my opinion, Social Media is useful or not it's completely depending to the person who use it, he/she can use it gain knowledge, information upskilling himself/herself and even earn money on the other hand they can use it as entertainment which is okay for some extent but often they don't realise how much time they are wasting, another thing many little age children get free access to porn and other adult videos/comics which is not good for them and as well for society.

In last, I say by the experience that I have, nowadays social media has more negative impact than positive.
