Impact of Social Networking Sites

In my point of view, social networking has two phases and it has both advantages and disadvantages.

It depends on how our generation takes one main advantage is that it helps people connect but it may also make people addicted to it.

We all know that social networking has a lot of pros. I want to put the cons points forward.

Yes, its true that everything that we use should be limited. All the scams that are held by scammers, all the crimes that are held by cyber criminals are because of this social networking. Recently the deepfake images of Actress Rasmika Mandana, and Alia Bhatt went viral very shortly. To make their videos viral, people can post anything without thinking about the after-effects of those videos or images. Also, scammers make fake accounts of you seek financial help from your friends, and then deactivate that accounts. In India, a lot of people don't know how to handle social media so by just replying to a message, their all-time savings can be theft by scammers.

Yes, there are a lot of advantages to using social media but it should be used in the right ways we should be alert enough while using this and we should have proper knowledge of something before we use it.

I would like to share my thoughts about social media platforms, Social media is one of the most important parts of our daily life where can we share our emotions, knowledge, and communication with other people.

Social media connects people nowadays we are using many social networking apps like Instagram, Facebook, telegram & Messenger, all these apps are used to get communicate with people by connecting with people we may get good or bad experiences.

various platforms like LinkedIn have proved to be an excellent way of connecting to professional people and increasing networking.

as we know every topic or everything in the world has its pros and cons, so it also has some demerits there are we spend a lot of time on social media for unimportant things, it causes eye diseases, stress, laziness, headache like that etc.

In my opinion, it depends on the way we use it.

In my opinion, anything done in excess leads to negative results. Similarly, social media is a very good tool to stay connected with our loved ones, friends and family. In the old days, there were very limited means to stay connected with friends we met in different cities. Also, we get so much information and day-to-day help using social media. It also provides a means to find your life partner which was not available in earlier days and options were very much limited.

If we talk about cons, then yes fraudulent activities have increased as it is easier to cheat someone online rather than in-person. Since all the information is stored online, people try to misuse it at times.

As a bottom line, I would like to say that if used carefully and under proper guidance social media is a boon otherwise it's a curse.

Social networking sites are boon or bane, of course, it's boon because it helps to connect to our family-relatives who live in different countries, so we can contact with them easily even very low of cost. Even though social networking sites, we can see others countries culture even we can also know our India's culture of various cities as peoples is uploading videos.

Vice versa, Social networking sites are a bane as some people are misusing it, as they create fake accounts to disturb other people using chat, video call etc. Also, some people post nudity or violating content which actually humiliating our society.

So, we should be aware of this.

Impact of social media:

Every Coin has two sides that's why this subject has also bad and good things.

The social media impact is totally depending upon us. If this networking sites use properly then we definitely get benefit otherwise not.

We connect a lot of people using these sides such as Facebook, Instagram etc. We get knowledge about any topic. Also, we can post our photos, important information, advertising about anything etc.

This sites also bad for some people which is wasting their time. Some problems occur like headache, eyes disorder etc.

In my point of view,

The social networking site has its merits and drawbacks. Its advantage is that we can get knowledge about anything within a moment. Because everything is available on social site, we can entertain, chat and talk to our friends and relatives. Because in the era we have no time for doing such works by going their home.

But excess of everything is bad. A lot of people use the social site too much that they do not know, that have got addicted to them they are always lost in the virtual world of these sites. Its result is that they have to face many difficulties to achieve their targets.

So, finally, I want to say that social site has its use and abuse but it entirely depends upon the users.

From my perspective, social media is giving a major network to connect with people and also connect to the world without any boundaries.

Social media can be impactful, beneficial, and influential as well. But it does have its positive and negative aspects.

As I would like to share both thoughts about it, so the positive aspects can be:

1) digitalization which is needed according to the technological world allows individuals to gain knowledge about web surfing and exploring the various options for gaining info.
2) Social media also works as a community for people who wants to share their thoughts with each other through a medium.
3) It allows a person to connect with a choice of people and access the needed information.
4) Social media provide immense knowledge and alerts about the things going on in the world.
5) Social media is a platform that gives an equal opportunity to utilize it to every person without any determination based on age, education, knowledge, and ability.

Negative aspects can be like:

1) A person who doesn't have a smartphone, Laptop, or PC which is essential for accessing the applications and technology will not be able to adapt to it.
2) Social media can have abusive, violent contents which can affect the mentality of an individual and also can influence a person to commit it.
3) In the world of technology as cyber crimes are happening day to day which are like hacking data and illegal access to credentials can become a reason of social media effect.
4) Social media have its own consequences like sharing data, time-consuming. Also, personal data can be accessible to every person who is in that network.
5) Especially for individuals who are below the desired age to use social media need to have restrictions and all those restrictions need to be created or get in work by the companies and the guardians.

The above aspects only show that social media needs to be used for essential needs only and also not to get more involved in it.
