In my opinion, social media can be good — but only for those who use it wisely.

For example, if someone is using social media to grow personally, gain knowledge, or even earn money, then it’s beneficial for them.

However, if a person is spending too much time on social media without any purpose like visiting inappropriate websites, playing games for hours, or endlessly scrolling through reels then they are wasting their precious time. They’re not using it for growth, and that becomes harmful.

As we all know, social media has two sides: one good and one bad. It depends on how you use it. If you're using social media to learn, trade, analyze data, or earn income, then you are using it in a productive way. In that case, spending time on social media is not a waste — it's actually valuable.

But there's also a downside to long usage — it can lead to eye problems. So, I would suggest wearing glasses or taking breaks to protect your eyes.

In my point of view. Social Media is a very important part of our life. We are all connected by different sources of Social Media. Such as Instagram, WhatsApp, Telegram & YouTube, etc. In this era, Social Media has proved very useful. There are many advantages and disadvantages of Social Media Sites.

First, we see the advantages of Social Media.

In this era, Social Media has proved by very useful for all humans. For example, LinkedIn, YouTube & Google are very useful sites. Students can get jobs very easily on LinkedIn. Some people are making reels, earning money through social media, and making good careers.

Now, we see disadvantages.

There are many disadvantages of Social Media. All children are scrolling reels the whole day & waste their time. Also, children are seeing bad content. Because of all this, Students can not focus on their careers.

I would like to say that social media is a way to communicate with a lot of friends simultaneously. I too spend a lot of time on social networking sites. But when I see people going crazy for something like popularity or gaining followers or likes I think social media is not good. It has some positive and also negative impacts. If we are talking about the positive sides I can say it gives us information about education, news, and what is happening around the world. It gives us information about jobs and general knowledge. On the negative side, people often use social media for wrongdoings let's say spreading fake news, or going crazy for something some silly things. Children are spending a lot of time on social media when they shouldn't.

Now, I would like to conclude by saying that it depends on people how they want to use it if they want to use it positively it is good if they want to use it negatively it is not good.

As humans cannot live without oxygen, water, and important food all this is necessary for humans to survive and for buying the essentials and also for some people luxuries they actually earn from social media sites.

Humans in today's world also cannot live without Social media sites. This site gives us very valuable and also knowledgeable ideas about where we have been facing some issues.

Nowadays even new parents cannot stop crying for their baby, and if they started some reels or any other kind of entertainment mode the baby's attention moves there and stops crying.

We all know that if there is a head-on coin there is also a tail.

In the same way, there are many disadvantages of these sites also but we should always see the positive side of all things and then our life will be actually full of happiness.

Every person in today's world knows what is wrong for us and what is right. So, take advantage rather than take disadvantages of what we are getting.

Social Media is both a boon as well as a curse for the people of our society. It helps users to gain information and knowledge regarding all the things happening around as, also we can connect to many people through social media and can exchange our thoughts with a positive conversation. People can share their talents on social media in order to be recognized.

On the other end, social media can lead to mass destructions. Unauthorized users or hackers can hack the accounts retrieving all private information of the individual. It can lead to body dissatisfaction, appearance, jealousy, anxiety, depression as people compare themselves with other which has a bad impact on them. At last, I just want to say that old is always gold. I like the previous time where people were indulged in outdoor activities, sharing ideas and opinions, but nowadays, people are just limited to that social media. Yes, I accept that technology is growing rapidly but simultaneoulsy mindsets of people are becoming narrow.

Social networking site is something which has both the advantage and disadvantages also.

Now maximum usage of social networking site can lead you an unhealthy lifestyle because of maximum usage we forget that we also have a life beside social networking side, we forget to spent time with our families, we forget to play in the ground. We need a lot of hard work a lot of studies to become successful but because of the maximum usage of the social networking site, we forget to study.

Besides that this advantages there are so many advantages like from social networking site there are so many people who started their small business and from there, they earned money for their family, we can help poor needy people by collecting money from social networking site, we also can protest against all the odds as well.

So at the last, I want to say everyone has a different impact upon them from the social networking site but it will be better if we use it for our betterment.

We all know the power of social media, I would like to say that people start use this in a positive way but knowingly or unknowingly the use of this is creating a negative impact on people. They start to chat with others, communicate with others, search of jobs. To learn about current affairs, to have some information about what s going around us as they start using it people are so addicted that the they can't even leave or breathe without using it. Why its happening because of the analytical behaviour of these sites, if you are sad it goes on recommending the sad vedios and keep your engagement with that social media high, it creates curious things to be in the social media always, some of the sites are really professional like linked in, quora etc. But majority of the sites paly with the psychological behaviour of humans. The life cycle of a person is changing day by day. Social media sites should be the part of our life, it should not be our entire life.

Social Media has both positive and negative sides.

If I talk about the positive impact of social media then social media is very helpful for students.

Nowadays lots of subjects are in school if someone doesn't have money to purchase a book then he will able to download the pdf of that book from any educational website, If we think about the students who are preparing for competitive exams like MPSC or UPSC.

The Syllabus of those exams are very vast, It is not possible to buy all the books so social media is also useful for those. Social media sites like LinkedIn and Naukri are very useful to find jobs.

Social media has also some disadvantages the young generation is addicted too much to social media sites like Instagram, and they spend lots of time scrolling reels, and because of that, they face mental and physical issues.

It depends on how you use those sites, If you use social media sites properly then it is very useful for you otherwise you face lots of issues.

Social media in which people meet virtually not physically social media networks increasing day by day.

In the present scenario, most people use social media networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube and more.

The Disadvantages of social media are people forget their moral duties and moral culture because of social media people do not interested about physical meat our friends and relatives so it is a very big problem for future generations and present time we can use social media on limited time because everything use in our extreme limit it is very harmful to anyone.

According to me, social networking sites have created a negative impact on our lives. Ever since social media has come, people live a lot at home and in-home also they are constantly in their phones. We can see family members sitting on a sofa and they are constantly on their phones.

Children of the past used to go outside and play with all neighbour's children. This is why our parents have greater networking than us.

Social media sites are now taking us to that stage where we have completely forgotten to use our emotional intelligence. Youth are constantly using and scrolling social sites. They are wasting their energy and now their mental peace as well. Due to social sites connection is not happening but mental health disorder is definitely happening.

So, to conclude I think no doubt social media can be a great platform to connect with people but if used intelligently and wisely. Otherwise, it will create a problem that will be hard to solve.
