We provide all our personal and professional data to social networking sites. And anyone can misuse it by using some code. Privacy leaks are one of the biggest threats in today's era.

However, it has some negative impact, but if we see its positive impact, it has proved itself as a boon of modern science.

Actually, I personally feel that social media networking sites are good for people. Cause with the help of social media networking sites, people are able to get connected throughout the world i.e., we can know what ever is happening in every corner of the world by just sitting at a place. Even these apps are useful for people to get employed or get educated and learn any of the technologies. But there are even few people in this society who misuse this. They use it in a wrong way and always cause trouble to people. They often bully people to make money.

So, I finally want to say that social media networking sites are actually very good and has many advantages. But all the fault is in the people who use it. Firstly, I talk about the positive side. Social media is very important for us. We can connect to the people through the social media across the world. There are a lot of this that we can share on social media and also we can share our unique ideas and show our talent through social media. Also, we can get jobs easily and earn money with the help of social media platforms, which we can use anywhere.

With the help of social media, we can easily get any knowledge regarding any field, and what's happening in the world.

And now, I would like to talk about the negative side of social media.

The main that I want to share is 'social media addiction.

The youth generation is fully addicted of social media. They spent a lot of time on the social media platforms and they forgot their goals and their aims. There are lot of bad contents available on social media and they get sexually addicted and spoil their valuable period of life.

Talking about social networking sites.

When it first came into public the concept was to socialize many people at the same time from a single click. The goal was to reach to a mass audience and make them network with the growing and developing world but today it is a site with a lot more potential than it was built to be. Especially in the trade, e-commerce and business world. The introduction of digital marketing, social media marketing, and YouTube advertisement has given some of the big boost to many well-known companies. But with that said it has become one of the most populous and outgrowing networking worlds bringing today's generation constraints in virtual reality rather than the real world.

Some of the major consequences are very concerning towards their mental health and well-being with the outgrowing number of depression, anxiety, bipolar and many more.

Social networking is a tool that can be highly destructive or highly constructive depending on its usage and the user's mentality over it.

In my opinion, social media can be good — but only for those who use it wisely.

For example, if someone is using social media to grow personally, gain knowledge, or even earn money, then it’s beneficial for them.

However, if a person is spending too much time on social media without any purpose like visiting inappropriate websites, playing games for hours, or endlessly scrolling through reels then they are wasting their precious time. They’re not using it for growth, and that becomes harmful.

As we all know, social media has two sides: one good and one bad. It depends on how you use it. If you're using social media to learn, trade, analyze data, or earn income, then you are using it in a productive way. In that case, spending time on social media is not a waste — it's actually valuable.

But there's also a downside to long usage — it can lead to eye problems. So, I would suggest wearing glasses or taking breaks to protect your eyes.

Such as Instagram, WhatsApp, Telegram & YouTube, etc. In this era, Social Media has proved very useful. There are many advantages and disadvantages of Social Media Sites.

First, we see the advantages of Social Media.

In this era, Social Media has proved by very useful for all humans. For example, LinkedIn, YouTube & Google are very useful sites. Students can get jobs very easily on LinkedIn. Some people are making reels, earning money through social media, and making good careers.

Now, we see disadvantages.

There are many disadvantages of Social Media. All children are scrolling reels the whole day & waste their time. Also, children are seeing bad content. Because of all this, Students can not focus on their careers.

I would like to say that social media is a way to communicate with a lot of friends simultaneously. I too spend a lot of time on social networking sites. But when I see people going crazy for something like popularity or gaining followers or likes I think social media is not good. It has some positive and also negative impacts. If we are talking about the positive sides I can say it gives us information about education, news, and what is happening around the world. It gives us information about jobs and general knowledge. On the negative side, people often use social media for wrongdoings let's say spreading fake news, or going crazy for something some silly things. Children are spending a lot of time on social media when they shouldn't.

Now, I would like to conclude by saying that it depends on people how they want to use it if they want to use it positively it is good if they want to use it negatively it is not good.

Social Media is both a boon as well as a curse for the people of our society. On the other end, social media can lead to mass destructions. Unauthorized users or hackers can hack the accounts retrieving all private information of the individual. At last, I just want to say that old is always gold.
