As per my point of view, compulsory word should replace with optional. Nowadays students are already getting pressurise by vast academic syllabus and if they are also forced for extra curricular activity it's a burden for them, but if extra curricular activities are optional they will positively participate according to their will.

Yes, the extracurricular activities are as important as academics for each and every student. Students who are not at all interested in studies can show their talent in the whatever field they are specialised. These not only enhance the skills but add on to the overall development of the students. Students feel more confident about themselves as they can explore themselves more.

So to sum up, ECAs should be there in each and every school.

Hello, friends myself Biplab.

Extracurricular activities is most important for the students. They can keep fit and healthy themselves with those activities and moreover, nowadays most of the people are suffering from overweight fat problems. So according to me, extra curriculum activities are compulsory for the betterment of the school and for the country.

Extracurricular activities should be made compulsory in school because students are our backbone of our nation. If they always remain fit, everything alright. To get fit for studying, their mind should always be kept fresh, so it is necessary that extra curricular activities like sports, cultural activities, debate, speech, fancy act like other should be done in their school frequently. Mostly ethical programme are conducted to set their mind for study. So friends for this parents, teachers are responsible for giving opportunities to every student to give their best as extra curricular activities as their like.

Thanking you.

Extracurricular activities are required, no doubt, but they should not be made compulsory because that would change its meaning from the point of view of students. The students would think of it as a burden like the academic work.

Rather it should be made optional. So that they would interestingly get involved in that. And thus that would help them in to know where their interest lies in.

Yes, extra curricular activities should definitely be made compulsory in schools. Now -a-days, there is a huge competition and students are experiencing a lot of stress. In such situations, these activities will be a way of relief for them. These activities find the hidden talents in the students and keep them happy, healthy both mentally and physically, help them in developing their self confidence and relations with their classmates. These activities provide a different way of learning for them i.e. by stage learning and learning through experiences. Thus, these activities make them develop interpersonal skills and intrapersonal skills right from their childhood.

Hence, it is the responsibility of the schools to make extracurricular activities as a part of the daily school schedule. The parents instead of not only encouraging them to study, should also help their child find out their interests and should see that they participate actively in at least one activity. Mainly, the students should be given freedom to participate in the activities they like or else, the idea of these activities being made compulsory in schools will be violated.

Yes. Extracurricular activities should be made compulsory because they help students to come to know about their own talents, means they come to know in what all they are good at by taking part in different competitions and activities. Activities like Debate, Elocutions help students build up their confidence of public speaking and this helps them in the future.

If somebody wants to become Einstein and is physically weak, why should he be forced for those activities ? Yes, those who are good at those things can go for extra curricular activities but it should not be compulsory.
