Extra-curricular activities play an important role in someone's childhood. Rather than the things we learn from your book, we should do something that improves our personality and skills. A perfect example is my life. My school only focus on increasing the number of toppers. They didn't support extra activities. In my childhood, I didn't get any opportunity to express my skills, such as in sports or the arts. Such activities will improve students' confidence, leadership, communication, etc and lead to the development of a good personality. So we should support it in schools.

Extracurricular activities play a crucial role in our lives. They make us confident and give us ideas on how to tackle or manage problems and situations in our life, and they also make us more aware people. It is also essential that we get rid of our shyness and hesitation. To become a successful person, it is necessary to know how we solve issues that cannot be handled only with academic knowledge.

In my point of view, extra curricular activities is must important during school days, if one student is not that much interest in co-curricular activities, they can be successful in any other career.
In school days, a student having a extra one skill called extracurricular activity might be look like a waste thing but after the years that will be considered as a career. So, one extra curricular activity is must for every student.

I agree with the view that extracurricular activities should be made compulsory in schools. I do not understand why many schools focus only on academic studies and give very little importance to other activities, especially in higher classes. Schools often fail to give equal priority to both academics and extracurricular activities such as sports, dance, and singing.
As a result, students start believing that there is no option other than studying, which creates a lot of stress during their schooling years. If schools provide equal weightage to academics and extracurricular activities, students will develop the ability to balance their studies along with other activities. These activities help students feel good, reduce stress, and refresh their minds during their school life.

In my view, schools should adopt a more balanced approach that focuses not only on academic performance but also on the physical and mental development of students. In many cases, to improve exam results, schools reduce sports and extracurricular activities, which can negatively affect students’ overall well-being. While academic success is important, continuous exam pressure already creates stress among students. Physical activities and short breaks are essential because they help improve concentration, reduce stress, and ultimately support better academic performance as well.
Education should aim for overall development rather than just high scores. Therefore, schools should maintain a proper balance between studies and extracurricular activities so that students can perform better both mentally and physically. This is why I strongly believe a balanced system is the need of the hour.
