Extra curricular activities should be made compulsory in school

If I talk of extracurricular activities then it is most important part to develop a child in school as academically one can only learn out some topics but if one in indulging with extracurricular activities then he or she can find an interest in himself or herself as to develop a child from starting then it is necessary to find out the interest of that child because extracurricular activities helps to groom out the personality in a different way. Marks are just a platform to go ahead but inner development is to live the way you want.

Yes, extra curricular activities should be made compulsory in schools. Studying is not the only think that helps you in life. When we set out to live life on our own terms, we face many difficulties that are so very related to what we can learn from extra curricular activities. You learn the importance of time management, team work, mental stability in crunch situations, and most importantly you learn about your limits which is of utmost importance if you are to succeed in life. So, I would prefer co-curricular activities should be made compulsory school.

Extract curricular activities are also great benefits to a students resume when they are applying for job.

Extracurricular activities help you to stand out from the crowd. It reveals a lot about you. For a overall development of student he/she should be involved in many activities. It brings a lot of positive changes. It helps children to learn new things. Sports hels to develop team work and leadership skills. It makes healthy lifestyle. It improves problem solving skills, self confidence. Meeting new friends that make more confident in communication.

I to agree. Every parent when they leave their kids in school they choose the school like providing such activities. That's why they took admission of their wards in such school.

My views it should be mandatory in all school whether it is govt or private.

Extracurricular activities develop the brain, cooperation, team spirit, physical stamina with a good education.

This is good for developing children's talent which are they show in their skill activities & some time they are go national international level to compete show there talent other activities also developed confidence to talk to persons. For eg other activities like yoga is good for health PT got for health also protect from diseases different competition where students show there talent & win certificates which are useful for there future nowadays there are 1more reserved seat for sports cota which is helpful in job interview selections.

Yes, I agree with the statement that extracurricular activities should be made compulsory in school. Besides gaining academic knowledge through books it is necessary to take part in other activities. These activities are also a part of life. They teach to remain punctual. Builds confidence among the individual. Develops a good leadership quality. Teach about the good team spirit. According to me, extracurricular activities are more important in a student's life. Because childhood days are the best days to learn anything. By practising any games/ activities it will help the student to increase their concentration and learning skill.

But it should not be imposed severely on students. Schools must bring interest among the student how to interest the games will be. So, that the children never think about to give up their sport/activity.

So, finally extracurricular activities are more important in schools.

For that our confident attitude plays a very important role and all this comes from such activities. These are not only preparing you for facing stage fears but also brings a leadership and teamwork quality so that later you will be able to work and coordinate with team, so if students will get such activities earlier, they can later on make themselves capable of working in such environment where we have to work in coordination.

Yes. ECA should be made compulsory in schools. Every students may not be able to show good ranks in studies. But that student who is not good in studies may be good in Eca. So that they can show their talent in every department. Sports can help students to improve their strength, ability to be positive. They will learn from their failures. Giving speeches, organizing events can help a student to improve their self confidence and stage fear will not be there for them. In this way there are so many advantages from extra curricular activities.

I think it is very important for children to learn extra curricular activities from childhood itself. The grasping power is more in children and by the time they grow up, they will become professionals in respective activities. Whereas if they start learning in adulthood, they may not be able to focus much. Children who do not participate in extra curricular activities are more dumb and cannot survive the competition as adults. Because the extra curricular activities help to develop a good personality, it must be made compulsory in schools.
