Examinations - has it killed education

Examinations kill the education because there are many instances where students committed suicide just because they got fewer marks in examinations. The examination is nothing but stress and pressures these days.

Nowadays the situation changed like, students are given marks for just reading and memorising but not for their actual capability.

The examination will not kill education. The examination is the method of measuring our ability. Examination makes students low and upgrade. It can write our future. A piece of paper decides our future.

One thing is there, students having different abilities not getting the place to show it in the exam. Their abilities suppress down. In my opinion, real education is natural life music, arts, social interactions, sports are real education.

From my side, yes, it is. Nowadays examination becomes one kind of fear for students. Students depend on specific topics, they are not interested to know something new. Because of examination system education become a business. Students do not get the opportunity to explore or enjoying education.

Examination is very importent part of education. We have to need it. But now our education system is change. Only for Exam all teacher and student compliting there syllabus so first. This students want only good marks not knowledge. It's very bad. Really examination killed education.

Yes, of course. Education should be there to provide some good quality of knowledge, skills and some values of life also. But now it has become hell for students.

Parents pressure their children to score high marks and even abuse them mentally and physically which affects the child's heart deeply as a result the child may take some wrong decisions also because of the fear of getting fewer marks.

There are some situations where people think that scoring 90% in exams is fewer marks.

The schools, colleges and institutions also torture students to get 98+ marks. Because they want to make their institution one of the top one.

If a child has any talent and good knowledge in anything other than studies. No matter what that child is always considered a weak student.

The students who are toppers in maths are considered a genius.

Today's generation just wants to become a doctor/ Engineer and most of them don't want to become but because of the given to them willingly or not willingly, they have to sacrifice their dreams.

Students have become bookworms and it seems like they don't know the knowledge of books. They fear of facing society.

Students think marks are very important in life but examination has only become a memory testing capacity for them.

They only write what teachers say to read.

For parents, their prestige matters more in front of relatives than their child's happiness. They say if you study you will get a good life like successful people. But they forget that most successful people are once a failure.

I have no hate towards exams but it's a pattern. Exams should be full of enjoyment, happiness and excitement of learning new things.

We need an education pattern where a student should not be judged by his/her grades.

My Opinion.

The examination is not judging our knowledge. This is temporary to increase our confidence level. Many Students have a lot of talent. The examination is one step in our education level but it's not our life. To show any talents achieve our success. Education leads to knowledge and everyone in this world knows. Our education is marks based. Marks are more important than learning new things. So opinion, I suggest Students should give marks according to the talent of the student. Usually, many students do not have any knowledge on the topic, But They get good marks by rote. The examination is checked to memorize ability. Many students get good marks but they have poor practical knowledge. So the Education system should be changed and practical knowledge should be more concentrated. They should focus on 20% theories and 80% practical knowledge included in viva.

We can never judge any students by taking their exam only because students prepare their selves only for exams and after some time they forget all things. Exam gives students pressure and at the time of exam, students keep in their mind fear of exam and only try to get more and more marks as possible. So from exam, one can not judge that who is better.

I am somewhat in favour of examination, you are saying that. The student just cramps and vomit their answers on answer-sheet. I am a hostler and I have noticed that about 85% of students are not interested in the study. They even don't open their books before the exam.

NOW just think over it, if there is no examination system. So, when do they study and what will be the future of the world.

An at-least student came to know what are their topics about which they are going to study.

I agree that practical knowledge is the must for everyone, but at least for showing off they study and grab some knowledge.

And something is far better than nothing. So examination system should not be stopped but it should be updated.

It is true that education is killing the inspirations of those students who are interested in learning what they want to learn and the competitive exam system has crushed they're dreamed and make them a thing which only feeds those words written in those books without any desire to do so.

It is very bad as in the childhood of man (when he is in 11 or 12 standard) , time when he sees the world in his way this dirty system make him know what it wants them to copy in their heads and later on make most of them it's servant and apply for labour job instead and don't let him rise high on its own.

So, friends, it's important that in this ugly system that we emphasize on learning more & not on just copying things in your mind.

Like Albert Einstein never liked this system, he was against this and left the school and the competitive system and started living and learning in His own way and believed that no one is less than anyone but everyone is unique in his own way.

Examination is not a matter of life the death. Rather it is matter of joy. To tell the world that you know it. To show your worth.
