The examination is the right way to secure the knowledge of the students.

In my point of view, the correction of examination is wrong.

In Anna University, the teachers who are evaluating the paper has given the limited time for the 2 minutes with the key points necessary for the given question. They are evaluating in means of the pages of the paper for the given marks and not by considering the contents. If the side heading is correct they are not reading the lines given under the side heading. They are simply seeing the pages and evaluating the points.

No grammatic errors are found in the contents.

In my point of view, the time for evaluating the answer paper can be increased according to the subjects.

In this way, the examination has killed the education.

For the other case depending upon the marks the students feature depends on so the process of evaluating the paper might be correct and it seems the knowledge person can be graduated.

Yes, examinations have never been correct, the way it happens is not the correct format.

1. Children by heart all the answers, and the ones they remember and put on the paper good the marks.

2. Some even just read the important ones or most probable ones.

3. With this type of exams, most children become lone and focus on scoring rather than learning.

This whole system is no point and no use.

I real life, we do every time refer and make the decision, we need to be more collaborative, discussing and deciding.

It should be more of practical kind of, where give tasks in the group of students let then analyse refer books and solve the give problems. Which creates healthy environment, communication, proactive, learn from failed attempts and progress.

Scores should be based on behavior, learning ability, communication, proactiveness, problem-solving skills, sports, cultural activities in the whole year, and written tests.

I really don't think examinations have killed education.

Examinations are the best way to test a student's capabilities in presence of pressure and it prepares them for the future.

The only thing that tends me to go for this topic is that how students take examinations-.

- Students often get too much depressed about their exams.

- Usually, parents judge their child's capabilities on the basis of their exam results.

- The 3-hour examination and 100 marks question paper often inculcate the concept of rote learning in students.

I believe examinations are good for students but the fear students have created in their minds regarding examinations really saddens.

Examinations are the most fun way to test your capability building, not your knowledge. Friends think it practically how can you be asked to pen down the whole.

The thing you studied in a year in just 3 or 4 hours? And your judge yourself on the basis of that.

Examinations should be the source for testing the skills of the students that what exactly they have learnt in the entire year. But nowadays, it is really sad to see that examinations have lost their meanings. They have just become the piece of paper and a burden for students- that too not for learning but of getting the highest marks in the class. And to a good extent, I would say that it's the parents and teachers who are responsible for this as they compare one student with another irrespective of thinking that every student has a unique quality. Education is not just academic knowledge. Education completes one's life by letting know how to be a good person, how to behave in society, how to respect your elders, how to be a responsible citizen and what not!

The examination should examine the student wholly and that's it. Marks are just numbers! And just temporary happiness which is of no use in the long run!

Thanks.

According to me, not an examination but the examination system is killing the education.

1. Parents are pressuring there children to compete with other which create stress, pressure on students.

2. Most of the school, colleges do not take interest in the practical exam they fulfil minimum requirements of the practical exam. And give more pressure on the theoretical exam which gives negative feedbacks about the practical exam to the student.

3. Every student has some special character or talent but they are judged by the same parameter.

4. Marks are getting more value in companies than practical knowledge which brings low confidence in fresher.

5. You can take the example of IIT exam there are total 10000 seats but for that, around 1500000 students give exam means if you see the ratio of the student then out of 100 only 0.6 students get selected. So what about the others? It is in our hand to change this system.

I am Naeem Kuraishi. I favor this topic.

My Opinion.

The examination is not judging our knowledge. This is temporary to increase our confidence level. Many Students have a lot of talent. The examination is one step in our education level but it's not our life. To show any talents achieve our success. Education leads to knowledge and everyone in this world knows. Our education is marks based. Marks are more important than learning new things. So opinion, I suggest Students should give marks according to the talent of the student. Usually, many students do not have any knowledge on the topic, But They get good marks by rote. The examination is checked to memorize ability. Many students get good marks but they have poor practical knowledge. So the Education system should be changed and practical knowledge should be more concentrated. They should focus on 20% theories and 80% practical knowledge included in viva.

Yes, Examinations has killed the education, because if we talk about the present scenario, students are being sent to school forcibly by their parents so that they could pass the examinations as their expectations and could get a job to secure their future. In all this, they are lacking the knowledge. Students are learning which matters the examinations only. For instance: there are many of my relatives and neighbors, they frankly say that somehow their child could get a job, and their work has been done.

There might be a solution according to me after teaching some compulsory subjects till their primary grades (till class 5th), they should be allowed only one subject to be focused and should be asked to take the examination of the same subject. They should not be forced for the exams of another subject. In this way, a student will select a subject of his choice and will give his 100% to that subject surely.

Hi friends, listen guys without exams nothing will prove. That how much the candidate or student have the knowledge or capabilities in themselves. According to me, examination isn't killed education. It depends on the particular student. Our education system wants to introduce the students with their facts that how much knowledge you have or what type of changes you need. If there are no exams in our whole academic year then no one will take the education perfectly. People avoid learning new things. Yeah, the point can consider that if you select the subject in which you haven't any interest. Then you never try to learn it & in your all the academic year you west your life's important time. And I agreed with the point also that the practical knowledge should be introduced in syllabus. So the students didn't get bored with theoretical knowledge. And try to understand the topic perfectly. That's all.

Good evening friends,

In my point of view, examinations is good for testing our knowledge on topics what we learnt in colleges or schools or any other places. But, because of some external forces students feel like stress and pressure in examinations.

In India, some educational institutions and parents are making force to get good marks to their students and children. It is good but it should be a certain limit. Because parents are telling to their children like this " you should get good marks otherwise you will not get success in your life. " with this words students studied hard and they by hart the concepts whether they understand or not.

According to me because of the above reason, most of the students are not getting jobs because of they are unable to do practical things and they are losing their thinking abilities.

Thank you.
