Well the art of managing cannot be restricted by gender. Skills are to be learned and practiced. Men or women both, can be expert with their opinions or judgements. But when it comes to framing any policy, designing a new framework, thinking of more economical means or managing a weird situation, I think opinion of women can also matter. I don't say women are better rather women should be given proper chance of letting out her views and trying her techniques of management. She may not perform better than men but she can perform equally well if given a chance. The more good managers (men or women) we have, the better it is.

All I'm asking is that if women's are so talented, then why are they so outnumbered in that aspect, i.e. only 2% as CEO's and CMD's, and 20% in top managerial position, please someone enlighten me, and don't say its because of male dominance, because its the law of nature that the fittest dominate, so all you will be saying is that men are better.

And if you are about to say that its because they didn't get a chance, well I have got news for you, you never will, chances never come to you, you have to go to them. And when you say of names like Indira Gandhi, Indira Nooyi, Chanda Kochar, Pratibhatai Patil, Meira Kumar, Arundhati Bhattacharya, you can even compare those name with what I have to say, name that even you will agree with I'm not saying that women are bad managers, all I'm saying is that men make a better one.

Yes, women are good managers. The reason is they have strong Tolerance enduring capacity.

And also they take better decisions even in critical times.

So in my point of view, women are greatly talented for working as a manager.

In my view, there should be no gender discrimination. Both male and female should be given equal opportunity. I think so that women's are born manager as their job is same as like a manager i.e. mother, daughter, wife and so on. They manage all the things very well. They care and gives closer focus on issues. One thing, I would like to say that good manager is not depend upon gender, it depends on creativity, knowledge, patience, the way of facing problems, proper judgement etc etc.

I would also like to justify my points by using some examples such as Chitra Ramakrishna CEO of NSE, Arundhati Bhattacharya CEO of SBI, Neeta Ambani CEO of Reliance Group and much more. So why we always underestimate women's. We have to give them equal chances to participate In society and break all the myths that they can't do anything.

This topic is very much appealing to me. In my opinion, women are actually better managers than men. This is because women are the most manageable ones. As we can see, in today's scenario, women are doing their household chores at home and are also stepping outside of their houses to work in offices to share their earnings with their family members and earn their livelihood.

They are capable of doing their work at home as well as in their offices. And we can see that girls are being the topper now instead of boys. Being a manager, a manager needs to be strong, manageable, intelligent and the one who can control and encourage his or her subordinates with patience. And women have all these capabilities in them.

For example, Sikha sharma of axis bank, chanda kochar of icici bank etc are actually the better managers which are making their companies or banks at the top level.

Hello friends,

In my point of view, both women and men have good managing skills. But, it does depend on gender. It only depends on how the person is working by using their knowledge, patience, manage, creativity.

So, we cannot pass any judgement on whether women are good managers than men.

Thank you,

Obviously Women are good managers. Gender discrimination and male dominance are hindering the females to step ahead and prove themselves. Otherwise, Women are born manager because whether it's a mom or a daughter or a wife.

A women always manages everything better. We can see examples such as in Rajasthan few women had started making papad and later their recipe is famous in all over the world. They now brought millions of turnover and helps in developing countries economy. The name of the company is "Lijjat papad".

So, its not matter whether you are male or female, the think matter is the managerial aspect and core knowledge in your respective fields.

Regarding the issues that many friends have mentioned earlier that Women physique are weak. So, they don't able to handle the field works. With the advancement in technology in today's era. Everything is automated and their are males who work under managers. So, individually if they are unable to complete the task, then team work will help it. As management is also about team work or working in a group.

So, if The developing country want to be a develop country. Than it has to make a mindset "No gender discrimination". And both men as well as women should support equally for the nation's bright future. Which makes us best one day.

As per my concern gender is not important if somebody doing his or her work according to consistently, patiently, hardly.

Women are good to tackle the problems and servive at any situation where are they occure.

Each and every person is judge by their work and knowledge what he/she can do and does it upto you.

Yes I'm in favour of this statement. Women have the inbuilt ability to manage things efficiently. The example is the housewife. She has a list of things in her hand to do, like looking after the children, making them ready for school, preparing lunch/breakfast for them and for her husband. After she finishes her morning tasks, she has to then look after the house cleanliness or at the kitchen stocks.

So these sequential work automatically makes her efficient in performing the tasks. Therefore it can also be said that women are good at multitasking. So when it comes to an Organisation, they can apply their inherent traits. She has to deal with a lot of corporate relationships, employees, etc as according to her position in the organisation.

As someone said already, it is a fact that women are more calm and patient than men, ya but there are some exceptions where this point fails. They are also able to manage by virtue of their good communication skills and soft voice.

My conclusion is that women are better managers than men as seen in general but from personal point of view anyone (whether male or female) can be a good manager provided he has achieved the basic skills required through training or practice.

Management work doesn't depend on gender. It depends on the skills. If any individual has skills of a good manager so it can become a Good manager, doesn't matter that individual is a male or a female.
