If you ask my point of view I would say definitely they can make good managers because our society neglected women from the past to perform any outdoor activities. They were forced to manage house, husband, children and cooking all the times.
Women took that job as a challenge and now their achievement is if anybody ask a women can you cook? Can you manage house, children, husband etc. Then anyone can say you are asking a stupid question. She is a woman and that is inbuilt in her.
Now think for a while and say if the management work was provided to women, they would have done justice to the same job, not because they are good managers but they are sincere and efficient to perform any duty.

For me, women are the best manager for their natural endurance and caring and closer focus on issues. The way they solve problems result in everlasting solutions as in the case of Liberia Leader (Her Excellence Helen Johnson) who change the chaotic condition and normalise the nation. One More example is the German Icon of humanist Her Excellence Angela Merkel who gives her most attention to end world migration minimise human destitution. The way forward Our world Should give closer attention to give women the chance to live their best merit and serve world excellence. In my case, my Hero Menelik II of Ethiopia achieved his excellent success with his hidden manager and advisor- Taitu Bitul.

According to me, If we are talking about a good manager so the first thing is that we should understand the meaning of a good manager. A manager is a person who manages his/her work in a proper way then secondly we should go to the gender if we are talking about good manager so the manager can be male or female we should not compare male or female in any way both male and female are best in their own way both have their own capabilities so both are best and if we talk about Do women make good managers so yes women make good managers because women are multitasking they do a lot of work in a proper way, and the responsibility of being a good manager should also be given to WOMEN.

As many of my colleagues already pointed out the managing ability of men and women, yes we can say that its not gender but skills and ability to develop and practice these skills is sought and on this basis a manager is selected, whether it is male/female.
As the quote "leaders are born not made" is passe now a days, the paradigm that only men can be managers is out of date because in recent years, women already proved that they have all the abilities and can prove if they had given a chance.
Indra nooyi.
Arundhati Bhattacharya.
Mary Kom.
Saina Nehwal.
Jhullan Goshwami.
Katrina and priyanka.
All proved that they have ability and they can lead and perform well.
Thanks.

As per my point of view, the management is a skill. Skills are developed, and are not gifted by god.
When a person faces a problem thy try to tackle it by thr resoning, logic, even experiences. That what increases their decision-making ability.
. When his /her decision adds value to the progress that we can say that he/she has good management skills. This has nothing to do with person's gender.
We all know about Google's CEO. He is male and a bank of India's manager is female.
They both are in this position because of their talent and skills.
I would like to conclude that we can't pass any judgement on whether women are good managers or men are.

My opinion was Men only make good managers, but it was proved wrong already if we take examples of Indira Gandhi, Pepsico CEO Indira Nooyi, ICICI CEO Chanda Kochar. They were and are hold good positions and proved themselves. Management doesn't available in books. It came with outside knowledge, So I thought men only can do it better, but now a days system has changed women also having equal IQ as men, so women also can do it better.
We can also take example of Jayalalita who has developed Tamil Nadu better than any male chief minister of Tamil Nadu. Now it is the most urbanized state in south India. So women are managing better than now a days.

Most of the women create their own placement in every field that means finally what I am telling, Women can handle the problems in every field then why can't handle the small organization and Kalpana Chawla? Its a joke right, because the last time I checked she was no manager or entrepreneur, and why would you call her a legend because she is a women or because she is an Indian, or because she died in a space shuttle crash, meant no this respect.
If she's a legend what would you say about Neil Armstrong (First man to moon) or Yuri Gagarin (First man to outer space). And for the record there were 5 men and 2 women's in Columbia (5>2).

Dude now the world is changed and why do people stick on to the traditional beliefs that only men can become good managers ? Those who possess the managerial talents, skills and ability to coordinate can become managers. Its not immaterial that only men can be the good managers. Nowadays womens are also equally talented than that of men in all aspects, so its nothing that like only men can become good managers. Infact womens take quick decisions than that of men and obviously they are successful in their work. So I just wanna conclude by saying that don't just simply criticize women, because they can do anything and everything.

Well the art of managing cannot be restricted by gender. Skills are to be learned and practiced. Men or women both, can be expert with their opinions or judgements. But when it comes to framing any policy, designing a new framework, thinking of more economical means or managing a weird situation, I think opinion of women can also matter. I don't say women are better rather women should be given proper chance of letting out her views and trying her techniques of management. She may not perform better than men but she can perform equally well if given a chance. The more good managers (men or women) we have, the better it is.
