All I'm asking is that if women's are so talented, then why are they so outnumbered in that aspect, i.e. only 2% as CEO's and CMD's, and 20% in top managerial position, please someone enlighten me, and don't say its because of male dominance, because its the law of nature that the fittest dominate, so all you will be saying is that men are better.

And if you are about to say that its because they didn't get a chance, well I have got news for you, you never will, chances never come to you, you have to go to them. And when you say of names like Indira Gandhi, Indira Nooyi, Chanda Kochar, Pratibhatai Patil, Meira Kumar, Arundhati Bhattacharya, you can even compare those name with what I have to say, name that even you will agree with I'm not saying that women are bad managers, all I'm saying is that men make a better one.

In my view, there should be no gender discrimination. Both male and female should be given equal opportunity. I think so that women's are born manager as their job is same as like a manager i.e. mother, daughter, wife and so on. They manage all the things very well. They care and gives closer focus on issues. One thing, I would like to say that good manager is not depend upon gender, it depends on creativity, knowledge, patience, the way of facing problems, proper judgement etc etc.

I would also like to justify my points by using some examples such as Chitra Ramakrishna CEO of NSE, Arundhati Bhattacharya CEO of SBI, Neeta Ambani CEO of Reliance Group and much more. So why we always underestimate women's. We have to give them equal chances to participate In society and break all the myths that they can't do anything.

Helllo, guys.

Am Sakshi Singh. I totally agree with that the woman is better managers. She can handle all the things with patience as compare to man. She knows that how to manage their family at home and she also know that how to behave with people in the company. It said by one of the great men that behind every successful man there is a woman. I think if women can handle there men and children 24*7 without expecting anything she can also manage outside the home very easily without expecting any profit. Like a mother at home, Woman can easily hide their emotions as compared to man and knows how to react or manage in critical situations. So, at last, I conclude that she is the one on the earth who can manage or do their job properly without expecting more profit.

Dear friends in my opinion we are living in 21 century, so we can not distinguish between men and woman, now woman managing job and home together, she doing everything perfect in any field, few year ago people was think -work done by men can not be done by women. But now days it is in vice-Versa. The CEO of google is a women and so many field they are giving their best.

Before some year there was no facility for woman. She was not educated so many restriction as compare to boys but after providing facility she uses of this facility very well. That's by our C.M. Providing many scheme for girls they can be become the part of our nation.

In conclusion I would like to say managerial skills not denpends on gender. One who has the ability who will be good manager.

Good evening friends.

I would like to share my opinion.

I think this is not about men or women. This is about the ability to do work or capabilities of each person. On the other hands, we can say that women's is good in managing things. Because from the very first day they can handle lots of situations like in our homes as well as in the kitchen. They take care of their child as well as do their job. They having the ability to do multitasking.

Also, women have more patience, courage, calm mind and a positive attitude.

Women think twice before spending money on things. They Think about the pros and cons.

Women's can easily hide their emotions as well. They know how to react in critical situations.

Well, every mom is the best manager in this world.

Good Morning Guys,

In my opinion, women's are good managers. As we know that women are expected to handle various responsibilities since their childhood which makes them good multitaskers. Who are managing their home and families? Their classifications make them good managers by they are more patient in difficulties. Women are better listeners, great communicators and they appreciate good work more frequently. And they are facing many problems in various or difficult situations. Then something's they are losing or Missing their carrier. Married women's who are managing our work and takes care of families as well as our target. A woman is a doctor, teacher, Company manager, cook supporter and many standards a woman is having.

Thank you.

As per me my opinion it is baseless to compare man and woman for a post. Managerial responsibility requires talent, good understanding, managing skills, communication skill. If any person either man or woman has these characteristics he or she can be a good manager.

In short those who possess managerial quality they can be a good manager.

Although I agree that there are more men managers than women and the reason is our society attitude towards women. Women are understood as homemaker only and not allowed to live their dreams. If we give opportunity and treat everybody equally without any gender discrimination then women will show their talent in every field and can shoulder all responsibility as men do.

AS far as good managers are concerned, one who leads and helps others to prosper in his group or organisation is said to be possessing qualities of good manager. By saying this, I meant that given topic is not based on gender. Good manager requires ethics, personality, leadership quality, communication etc. Since all these qualities can be possessed by any of the male/female managers. (For eg. Arudhanti bhattacharya, Kiran majumdar shaw, Chanda kocher, Indra nooyi, steve jobs, Bill gates, Mukesh ambani etc. ).

So my point of saying is that good managers requires hard work, exceptional talent and out of box thinking. A person or human who have above all qualities develop himself to be a good managers.

Yes, as women are more patient while taking decisions. A woman is a doctor, cook, teacher, nurse, maid, protector, supporter and many more qualities a woman is having. So a woman is multitasking. They can manage time very nicely. Women are better listeners as they give importance to every second. They speak very politely. They enjoy there work and are very punctual. In day to day life, if we want to go to any picnic or to marriage she is the only one who manages what to take with them so that difficulties don't occur. I want to give an example of Kalpana Chawla who was the first woman who went to space. The conclusion is that we should treat everyone equally. So that women can show their talent too.

Look at Yahoo, Lehman Brothers, HP, etc. See what happens when leadership is given based on gender.

Women, in general, don't make good managers as men. Most people here are saying that women have good patience, well then they are not living in reality. Women are also not good risk takers, they always play the game safely & traditionally. This hampers the growth of any company. Without taking big risks no company can be successful in the long run.

Women are multitaskers is also a myth. Today working women don't know how to cook, take care of their children or elders but what they are interested is in partying, outing & boozing office culture.

Now I'm expecting a radical feminist backlash.
