Do we really need Smart Cities?

Hello everyone.

Yes, we really need smart cities. Every developed country need smart Cities. It means providing good infrastructure, all facilities like water, 24*7 electricity, hospitals, school.

Government need to take strict action who don't follow traffic rules and throw garbage anywhere. Then only our country will develop. This will also attract more tourist to our country.

This will also create employment in different fields like in communication, architecture, computer etc. It will increase our GDP of our country. Hence improve Indian economy.

Also by providing all facilities people will be happy and satisfied. They will lead better life.

But government should also concentrate on rural area. Government should create awareness about importance of education, creat employment and give training. Also government should improve the condition of rural area.

Yes of course, we need to develop smart city because our existing metro or high population cities are facing various problem like large population, allocation of resources, employment, hygene and sanitation, etc so due to vast area of great rush there is difficulty in management of basic services and facilities. So to reduce burden of existing city we required to develop smart city which provide better services and facility so population move to these city.

And burden of lagre metro city is divide.

But it is true that our most of population live in rural areas which based on agriculture and smal non formal sector so we need to develop smart villeges with smart city.

GOI Rurban mission, smart city mission, startup india, small and medium enterprices, MSME, etc are help both rural and urban development and it provide a new trigger to boost the Indian economy.

First, I'd like to start by telling everyone what does a smart city mean well smart cities are basically a modern form of the existing cities with better waste management system better roads with a clean environment and which also includes using solar panels and other forms of sustainable energy. So the question is do we need smart cities or not and the answer is yes because in a developing country like India smart cities would act as a boosting centres and trade centre to increase the development of the country as a whole there are plenty of villages that are directly dependent on cities for their day to day activities so making cities smart would help developing those villages so for the overall development of the country I think developing smart cities ia not a bad idea at all.

Proper education system, employment and good hospitals are the basic needs of every people. Due to which most of the people ran towards the big cities, creating huge population there. What a smart city really means,

According to me, a place where a good education system, proper law system, good hospitals, proper traffic system, good technologies and proper water supply are there can be considered as smart city. If we are providing these facilities in small towns and cities, there will be decrease in migration of people from small towns to big cities. Ultimately there will less population in big cities and there will more no. Of smart cities. It will definitely help in the development of our country, although its a huge challenge for the government because it will needed a lot of budget but these initiatives will definitely lead to the of our country.

I think there's a need for a greater number of smart cities. The changes I've witnessed when a nearby city was converted into a smart city were phenomenal. The cleanliness increases, people get better services, better connectivity, etc. This would, in turn, lead to a change in the mentality of people and would portray a picture of an ideal city in their minds. Even if these people shift to a "non-smart" city, they'd try to keep their surroundings clean since they are now used to living in a clean environment.

Due to these minute changes in our society, we'd be able to focus on other important things. Instead of bothering for an auto rickshaw from place A to place B, we'd be planning our day and other things of priority sitting in the punctual city busses. Thus, smart cities can lead to a change in mentality and would make our lives convenient.

I accept that India really need smart city to enhance its global status and development.

But before this let's focus current scenario of India we will find still except a few cities specially from north region are very less developed they don't have basic facility of transportation as well poor road condition also they have less employement, drainage system and smart function of every thing is far from them problem is lack of education sometimes government attention. I think government should take some positive initiate first this side later they should work in making city smart. Although India is a democratic country so called 'SABKA SAATH SABKA VIKAS'. Government should take effective initiative to make people educate and then smart. However I support the initiative of 'MAKE IN INDIA' from BJP government side toward this.

According to the definition, smart cities are the cities which are refurbished and or developed by the urban development ministry of India in order to increase the quality of living, More opportunities for businesses, good health, sanitation and infrastructure for all.

Recently there have been 100 shortlisted cities under this scheme of government which are funded by the state as well as union governments and monitored by Union Ministry of urban development.

These projects are funded either by the way of Private-public partnerships or other means.

A smart city is the one which has all the basic amenities like good infra, Proper hospitals, Education for all, transportation and other sustainable management systems.

In India, smart cities are need of the hour so as to create employment opportunities and to develop tourism.

Yes, we really need smart cities in developing country like India, smart cities are the cities which have proper standard of living, where educated people live, where the people are aware of happenings and have facilities of proper clothing, shelter and housing. There should be a large no. Of smart cities which will not only bring the development in country but also in people's mind and develop them as a person. If we compare the smart cities with the undeveloped areas we would know how they live and what is the difference and soon that gaps should be filled. India with the highly populated country have capable people who can bring our nation towards development but the only difference is an opportunity and lack of education and development in our nation so this is the core problem then only more smart cities are possible.

Yes I agreed with this statement we really need smart cities because smart cities means advancement of technologies, economic growth of individual, pollution free cities as we all talking about clean India, so yes if we have all these kind of thing then our cities become smart and if every individual become smart and clearly know his/her rights for the society then this automatically helps us to have smart cities and it's also very helpful for the country.

As we all know in our country lots of smart cities Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Pune but still we all have to aware about smartness because we all know the condition of Delhi and other cities, every single day we hear lot of people die because of pollution so I think it's every individual contribution to make smart cities and make our nation smarter.

Yes, We really need Smart Cities because in Smart Cities people enjoy a great standard of living in the form of enough Education Areas, Employment Agencies, Entertainment places. Medical facilities etc.

But these all aspects are possible to alive when we will do utilize all utilities surrounding us like Dustbin, Traffic rules, Enlightenment programmes.

In other hand digital helpdesk where people live a king life on internet people complete their basic works just in a while like Paying Online Electricity Bill, Telephone Bill, Taking different kinds of recharges as per their needs, Best Shopping etc. And it is possible because of Smart City concept.

And I'd also like to conclude that there are many things to do but there is only need to considerate with not lack of knowledge to be a big hand.
