Do we really need Smart Cities?

Hello everyone.

In my point of view, smart cities & villages project will be executed parallelly.

These are some advantage of working on smart cities parallel to the smart village.

*We build up tourist place in smart cities and gain more money by tourists. This money can spend on developing the village.
*By making smart cities, urban people also inspire by them & want to be a smart citizen. As we know that any city become smart by its citizen so we can easily build up the desire to will be become a smart city.

I think that smart city is not necessary for today. Firstly, the development is most important in rural areas and villages. Need cities converted into smart cities. Because, many city people facing a lot of problems daily such as water shortage, scarcity of electricity, traveling on congestion various traffic problems. After converting a smart city gradually reducing their problems. Sometimes Rural people living in a city for working, they need a government school and hospitality.

I am Sujit Kumar Bhuyan. I would like to mention something regarding this topic. Yes, we need smart cities not only for our own comfort, it will help to increase the economy of our country. If some cities become smart day to day the demand of country will increase.

In India 50% population is only younger and struggling to get a job because in India job is very less according to population and the age between 18 to 35 are going out of country to get a job and those who have not good financial condition they are joining in various local politic group and misusing their life.

If smart cities will be in our country most of the students who are interested to study higher education, they will be getting more opportunities.

Day to day the system of education is increasing in other countries because of smart cities. To become educated the students from India are going to foreign and spending more money and because of this, the economy of other countries is growing up.

Those who are in rural area and not getting proper information about new generation, they will be getting easier and they should try to change their life system according to the new generation.

Well, yesterday's caves are today's buildings. Yesterday's buildings are today's skyscrapers. And yesterday's cities are today's SMART cities. According to me, every city from time to time must be promoted and upgraded to the next level and same should be done with Indian cities. Cities should be clean, stuffed with modern amenities, facilities and technologies. It boosts the mentality of its residents. Moreover, in this tough competition era, if our cities won't be smart, then some cities of other country can OUT SMART our cities thus slowing down our national progress. What do you all say?

Yes, smart cities are necessary but before that, the thinking of the people should be change to smart. Some people are already having that kind of thinking. But if we talk about some remaining people then they don't have to do anything with what happening in India and they are self-centred. They are only thinking about there own development but not about the all. So if people attitude changes to smart then all the cities become the smart automatically.

According to me.

Smart city plan is not very effective. As there will be no benefit for the people that they are living in villages. They can afford the value of smart product and services even these people are not completely aware of smart cities availability.

So it will be very important to just invest the money in agriculture sector and provide some basic amenities of life of that people in which most important is education, as per data about 26%population of our country is illiterate and instead providing smartness through education gov thinking about to make smart city.

Whatever the services that is being availed by gov should be beneficial for everyone then there will be uniform development of our country.

And one more thing that smart city as per the vision will use technology so I think it might create unemployment with the use of smart equipment and machinations service and product will be given and developed.

So as per my opinion smart city idea this time for our country should be remained just like as an idea.

Yes, we really need smart cities. The relevant points are-

1) In smart cities there will be a smart government office It's mean the time duration to complete the work will be less and peoples save their time in government offices.

2) Smart cities important to connect there nearest small town or villages so the development and growth of business is possible.

3) Important to improve government hospital, police station, railway station, bus stand and many government sectors to connect with public.

4) Smart cities important to increase job opportunity.

In my point of you, yes smart cities are needed. Most of the indians are hard workers, if they combine their herd work with the smart ideas then they can get good results.

This will be possible by the smart cities.

Of course not. Because in my prospect a man can't be manipulated by the society's influence if he himself has a power of judgement. I am not saying that people should be back-dated. But if most of the current people really think that their cites have become smarter then why this kind of nonsense activities like rapes, molestation etc are being happened still. So I think that a man can change himself by his own mentality, not by anyone's influence. And that day the cities will be smarter.

India is going to the path of development. And it is also a great way to say that we are developing by making cities smart.

But we also think about the great part of the population which have only one problem that they are hungry. They have little Education, they don't want smart cities even they don't know about smart cities.

I think the government should take a step to do something for them. The Government should give technology to the deep in India. So I think education should be given to them. And when education is given. It may work easily to make cities smart and make people smart firstly.
