I think it's a great opportunity to communicate with people from other countries when we organize the Olympics.

We can also participate in this competition, showcase our talent, and prove our national abilities.

Hello friends, it is true that we can host the Olympics.

But there are some concerns regarding the decisions taken in favour of hosting the Olympics:

1. It is true that India has a good talent in the Olympics, but compared to most of the developed nations, we rank very badly when it comes to the Olympics.
2. The cost of building the infrastructure required to host the Olympics is too much and might lead to bankruptcy like in Greece.
3. If the footfall of the tourists is very low, we will have to depend on the Indian population to fill the seats of the stadium.
4. There can be chances of dangerous attacks on civilians by external/internal forces for which we will have to spend more on security.
5. Hosting the Olympics in a city increases the cost of booking a room in a city, which is a problem for those who need to visit that place during an emergency as the cost of the room will be very high.

Thank you.

Hi Everyone, I personally feel that India's next shot at hosting the Olympics 2036 is really not a great idea. In the recent past, nations have incured losses as part of hosting such a big event. Corruption has been the biggest reason behind the same and India is no different. The Commonwealth Games of 2010 still show us how some high ranked people around us make it a way to fill their pockets instead of conducting an event properly.

Adding to all these headaches is India's poor infrastructure when it comes to some very important sports such as swimming and events related to the same. India is not having world class aquatic centres as of now to hold it. It would absolutely mad and sad if India is prioritizing a single event over the future of the nation. India do need better faculties but for the champions in out nation and not for any single event. Moreover, the nation needs to improve in sports first before bringing such big events to this soil. Else their won't be any Indian spectators in majority of the sports complex due to low participation of Indians themselves in these events.

I don't prefer the government of India to host the Olympics rather we should focus on any other field of development and poverty reduction. Hosting the Olympics is very expensive and currently, India is one of the most poverty-populated countries as per the UNO report so, we may focus on the development of the skills of the sportsperson who would represent India in the upcoming Olympics and bring fame to the country.

Hosting the Olympics is a highly important and challenging task for India. The entire world, especially major countries, will have their eyes on us. If we want to make this event a success, we must approach it with careful planning and strong implementation. Here is a possible roadmap:

1. Athlete Development and Promotion of Sports:
With 10 years to prepare, we should focus on identifying and nurturing talented athletes across all Olympic sports. Promoting every Olympic sport and encouraging participation can increase our chances of winning more medals. If even one-third of the population takes a genuine interest and gives their 100% effort, we could see a significant rise in medal counts.

2. Economic Efficiency and Corruption Control:
For an economic boost, the funds granted by the government must be used honestly and transparently. Strict supervision and accountability from the officials in charge of Olympic preparations will lead to better work efficiency and trust in the process.

3. Private Sector Involvement and Public Awareness:
If private companies invest in the Olympics and help with advertising campaigns to raise awareness about different sports, especially among those who are currently unaware or uninterested, it could increase public interest and national engagement.

In conclusion, I know the success rate of this idea may seem like just 10%, but nothing is impossible. India has already proven this in many areas. With unity, effort, and smart planning, we can make it happen.

Hello Friends,

In my point of view, we can definitely host Olympics in future. As India is the country whose economy rank is under 10. As we know to conduct Olympics we have to keep an eye on 3 major parameters, big ground which is easily available in India, second is fund that can be arranged by keeping in view the tenure to conduct to the Olympic it can be done by opening the account in the name of Olympic by government and third is the arrangement as we know there are about 200 countries whose 1100 athlete participating,

As our culture is Atithi Devo Bhava so we have to welcome them with honour and keep them safe with dignity.

We can fulfill our dream of hosting Olympics by making sure to work on our security and fund management.

As per my concern, there is nothing wrong if we think and dreamed that we can host Olympic. We have all that cab sufficient for any big concert and if we host commonwealth, cricket world cup so why we can not host Olympic we can. India is a big country I have place, finance and capability to hosting this kind of big event. Thanks.

Hello everyone,

One has rightly said that if one dreams he/she can win. So the the same thing goes here. Ofcourse India is now on to the stage of developing country. We have ample of resources. We have enough facilities, new technologies. On a serious note India is capable enough to host the Olympics.

Good morning everyone.

Yes, we can dream of hosting the Olympics in our country, but we have to look after the infrastructures, security and hospitality, if we can organise events like IPL the Olympic can too be organised, but the difference is that IPL is conducted by the rich people but Olympic by government so government should be corrupt free to organise it in a much better way.

NO, As in 2010, commonwealth games were organised by India and we had seen the consequence.
Many big corruptions came into the picture at that time.
Some corrupt people like Suresh Kalmadi have found the easy path to earn money at the sake of state's reputation.
If such kind of things we can avoid, then surely we can dream of hosting it.
