I too agree that corporate is a field where we rarely get time for looking upon our fellow people in society. But that must not be a hindrance in helping people through social sector.

In fact they have a greater scope since they comparatively earn more and can involve in these activities comfortably in economic point of view.

Also in addition to that many corporate like IBM have separate dates in their calender purely devoted for the welfare of various social sectors mentioned for old age, physically challenged etc, so it becomes much easier for employees of such organisation.

On a concluding note I would say that we humans are put in this world for a purpose. To make our life purposeful we need to take a step towards charity despite being employed or not in a corporate.

Thank You.

I very well agree with the statement that one can contribute to the social sector while being employed in the corporate sector. Working for the poor, helping them gives you inner satisfaction that yes we hav done something for them. Salmaan khan, sushmita sen and many more are working towards it. As said "charity begins from home", we first should help our maids by providing things that we don't use.

I believe that everyone should realize their responsibility & come forward to help the social sector with Knowledge, Money, and by providing small employment.

Its not very tough to help poor people while working in the corporate world.

They don't have enough financial resources to put their children in a school. Hence, we can spread the education and try to make them feel happy.

We are living in India where people are famous not for its luxurious things but famous for their helping nature.

Since, the topic is such where in we have to drag the Corporate sector in between. As matter of fact thinking about the social sector, being a social animal, we must think about others as well. My personal belief when we talk about the corporate sector, it's about a doing a job like others do with the same heart, same emotions. There are so many companies which have some way or the other linked to some NGO's or other societies, which are active and helping the people who are in need. We should identify the channel to help the needy. Rest everything will fall on place and will give us some peace and happiness of helping others.

Yes, I do agree that one can really contribute to social sector inspite of being employed in corporate sector. There are many ways to contribute to seciety i.e. Donation, running some awareness probramme for society and teaching poor students for free or very less fee etc.

There are many corporate organizations like TATA, GENPACT etc. Which are allied with some NGOs and wellfare societies and donate money and clothes etc. These companies also organise some charity programmes like organizing some fession shows, singing & Dancing events which help in collecting money and then the collected money is donated to NGOs, Hospitals or schools & colleges in terms of scholerships to the poor students that is in way a contribution to the society/country.

At personal level an indivisual can take out some time and disseminate his/her knowledge around that he/she get there from the corporate world. That can really help the people in getting a right path and building a good career. Teaching poor children/students who can not go to good schools/colleges, will be great contribution. So its our moral duty that we contribute to social section as much as we could in all the manners.

Yes, if any one who is working in corporate then defiantly he can contribute to the social sector. Every one has freedom to do what they want do and if there work is not affecting to others then he can do anything.

But its also important that the person of corporate when contributing to social sector there there contribution does not affect there corporate work.

Being part of a corporate world we are used to things like:keep clients first, meeting deadlines, making profits, cost cutting etc and hence, it is belived that coorporate is all about profit maximization and nothing else.

But, if we look around, we will find so many examples which prove that even coorporates are invloving themselves in paying back to the socitey. ITC and p and g donates 1 re from each of their products for community welfare programmes, itc has come up with e choupals, tata is involved in providing various facilties to its employees in jamshedpur etc.

It may be argued that they just do it for their own benefit as it helps in building the trust of their customers. But, I beleive even if that be the reason, the society is getting benefited from such measures and hence, these should be encouraged.

Yes by being in the corporate world its possible to contribute to the social sector. As it's our moral responsibility to contribute to the society. Individually it can be bit tougher but norms or measures undertaken by the top management people of the company can be followed which is in the direction of goodwill of the society.

As there are no. Of companies which are company in front with measures which are for the society. For example- p&g donate rs. 1 on every purchase of its product for the education of the poor people. Similarly there are TATA which believe in ethics a lot which again in favor of the society. The body shop realize the importance of nature in our lives and they urge to protect the environment for our future generations. Likewise there are number of companys which are performing such kind of activities.

These kind of acts create an good image of the company in front of the customers. So this will have great impact in front of customers and customers will also get emotionally attached with the company.

All of us can contribute even in a small means in a small way. It can be by being a part of any social activity or by helping people in own society or a organisation. Corporate life is never ending, its upto us how we manage the time. Contribution to social sector doesn't involve a daily basis effort. So, just a initiative is required, rest where there is the will there is the way.

Hi friends,

As per my view every person has some responsibility towards their society. Because we born in society, we lived in society, then when q arises about social responsibility why peoples are keep quit. They gave the reason we have no time? what should I do? Despite your busy schedule why they took d time for their own society, where the new future are born.

Actually people Wants only money For their Bright Future. But future is also depend on society.
