Brain-Drain has to be stopped

Brain Drain should not be stopped because, I think that the qualified and skilled person mostly migrate to other countries due to lack of opportunities and jobs. While several Universities in abroad give the opportunities to study with simultaneously working. Also, when the person is capable enough, i.e. more skilled and qualified, he can come back to serve the nation again. Lets take one example of Mr. Manmohan Singh, who completed his bachelors in India, and done his PG from Oxford University, and came back to India and became a professor in University Of Delhi, and hence serving the country.

Brain drain in simple words means movement of skilled workers from one place to another.

The people move to another places in search of better job opportunities or to acquire vast knowledge. Brain drain has advantages as well as disadvantage.

The advantage of brain drain is that people acquire new skills and their knowledge can help in social and economic development of the country. The disadvantage of brain drain is if health workers migrate to foreign countries in search of better living conditions then the country from which they are emigrating will suffer adversely due no proper health facilities.

Yeah, all of you are speaking of disadvantages of Brain drain but no one is worried about the causes and reasons behind it!

The reason is RESERVATIONS IN EDUCATION SYSTEM.

Though many of bonafide's are having good skills and talents in their professions, they are not getting opportunities in INDIA.

Brain Drain is very important because most of the people go abroad because for their studies and to settle there a lot of the Indian people settled in US, for an example: Satya Nadella and Sundar Pichai. If there is no brain drain no country is to be developed all members can leave in home country only.

First of all, I would like to pay attention on the topic Brain-Drain.

Nowadays many Multitalanted people & well skilled person are going other country from our country because of the lack of many facilities, lack of many opportunities in their own country.

Many countries are attracted by giving a good salary & many opportunities.

There are many reasons for this but Indian political leaders are not effected this problem because they only make money for own future not for others. They are selfish to think only for ourselves.

In a country where rape and harassment are pervasive, half the population (women) would love to move abroad. Most of them cannot because they don't have the opportunities. Basic law and order is missing from the country, something which should've been fixed by government decades back. All the developed countries have great law enforcement, because the governments there did an excellent job, and because the people voted for such governments. India has been messed up mostly by Indians living in it so far. It's those people who have to fix it. Good people will work hard to find better opportunities.

I think everyone is right at his/her stand but my point of view over this issue is - we shouldn't stop brain drain because we have been living in the world of globalization where every nation is dependent on each other as our nation's talented persons going in other nation.

Likewise other nation's student also doing job here and they are helping us at various projects, technology is not a solely reason due to brain drain our FOREX reserve also increases and I don't find any problem on this if a person is doing job in another country where he/she got the job according to his/her talent.

Hello friends, first of all, I want to define brain drain, it means settling in the foreign country of skilled people. According to the UNESCO report India has second in the brain drain. 85%doctor and engineer went to another country.

There are many reasons for the brain drain.

(1) lack of opportunity.
(2) lack of facilities for practical education in higher education in their own country.
(3) reservation is a major problem in India.
(4) politics involved in each and every phase.

To stop the brain drain, India should give skilled and technically people the status which they deserve.

According to me, as every thing there will be advantages and disadvantages & In the case of brain drain, really the country is losing its human resources and the works of brilliant minds. The young people with good talents are attracted towards the high salary given in the foreign countries rather of working in our nation to make it a developed one from developing one. As when telling about the advantages of brain drain, the main thing is that it offers more opportunities for the others but also we need both kinds of people without any drainage in the development.

In every field, Indians proved their excellence and hence we have one of the best brains in the world. According to my angle of vision, our government should take more initiatives to create more and more employment and opportunities for our brains to prove themselves across the globe. So, they need not move outside and our country will develop rapidly. Generally, brain drain occurs among the highly educated people, so my point of view is that they should understand that our govt has spent a lot for our education and we should do at least something for the sake of our motherland.
