Yes, Indians are quality conscious. The only reason is an Economic status that compels us to do so. Can you expect a below average income family to go and shop in luxurious shopping malls for the sake of quality? The answer is simply No, rather they would prefer local cheap type markets. We might find the difference between a normal T-Shirt and a branded T-Shirt like Reebok, but still, both cover our bodies, and you can't deny this fact. So, if we can afford such branded equipment, then obviously we will go for it.

Yes, I think Indian is a less quality conscious, before buying anythings we first she cost, if we are getting more in less money we choose that product. But I think quality product should be chosen because it will be a long lasting one. Let me give an example I have bought a bag of 300 rupees and after 3 months it is of no use then I have to buy another like wise we are spending more if we are preferring quantity instead of quality whereas if I have bought a quality product that it might be a long lasting one.

Good morning everyone.
In my view, Indians are quality conscious. But due to lack of necessary environment, we Indian can't show that we are quality conscious.
As many people in India are poor that's why they can't afford quality products. Quality doesn't mean only in food products but also in the quality of living. Moreover, there is no implementation of rules and regulation. That's why we don't bother for any penalty. At last we Indian are quality conscious if provided a better environment. That's all.

We all Indian are less quality conscious because we always looking for factory sale, discount, quantity, and looks we never bother about quality. Today tele-shoping and online shopping are in great boom where we buying goods without seeing we just attracted by the price. The reason behind this is average salary in India is four-time lesser than China and ten timed lesser then Japan we just think about quality.
But we can not afford. One more reason is illiteracy people doesn't even know what is quality.

I don't agree with you people because Indians are quality conscious but the money they spend is less but they don't get compromised with quality, that is why we have many quality products in our country. Let's take Flipkart as an example because they are undergoing so many tests before the delivery is done. Almost all the online market is running in the market of India are with quality.
Indians are money minded people because of the low income but they need a good quality of product with more quantity.

According to me, Indians are less conscious because out of 100% of people, 60% of the people are below poverty line in India. As I want to say that the rural area's people are not quality conscious that doesn't mean all people are not conscious. In rural area people are having low economic condition so they can't buy quality goods. It is the fact that education of people directly proportional to quality of life. So quality consciousness directly depend on the economic condition of an individual person.

My dear friends, Quality of the product bought by the customer is depends upon their financial situation as well as their need. If they need for temporary time, they may go with quality less products. They will use and through away. If they want long lasting products they will go with the quality products. Its all depends upon their need and financial situation also will force them to buy less quality products. Hence we can't say exactly that India is less conscious about Quality.
Thank you.
Thank you.

Hello guys!
In my view, INDIANS are quality conscious people. I strongly support my answer because as the India is a heavily populated country there exist a different kind of people here in India. Accordingly, most of the less populated countries are being helped by the Indians to grow up their revenue. In my sense, if the Indians are not quality conscious then why the other country people accept us to get into their countries and make Indians the millionaires and the billionaires.

According to my point of view, I don't think so Indians are less quality conscious, we live in a country where all types of people are there high-class family, middle-class family and poor people. Poor people are also not quality conscious all they spent less on quality because of having less money in their pocket. They also want to increase their standard of living, they also want to spend more money on a quality product but due to poverty they are not able to do that.

Well guys, I don't think so Indians are less quality continuous. Suppose if they are, they wouldn't conduct examination like CAT, GATE, etc to get the best ones.
India is the country where all type (rich, poor and middle class) of people live, doesn't matter what amount of money they invest but everyone want best of what they paid for. A very common example of how a person buys vegetables or fruit by checking the quality also proves that "yes we are quality conscious".
