We know that India is a developing country and majority of its population lies below the poverty line. Because of this many think about their budget before buying anything. This let them to buy products of lower quality but they buy the products of best quality in their budget. This doesn't means that they are less quality conscious.
Everyone wants the best but everyone can't get. Indians are lacking behind in terms of quality because of their poor financial conditions. So Indians are not less quality conscious they are bound to be less quality conscious.

Hello friends,
According to me, we Indians were giving more importance to quantity than quality before 2 or 3 decades ago. But after started the era where both quantity and quality mattered a lot.
And now most of the people rich or middle class choose to have a quality product than just the quantity, that's because of the fact that durability of the quality products.
Although people below the line of poverty still go with the quantity one, because of their financial troubles.
So I would say people of India are becoming quality conscious with the time.

Yes, Indians are less quality conscious. As I am agri graduate I know what the quality food is, rich people wish to take quality food but those people only taking poor quality food because they can't eat fresh vegetables, fruits and most commonly they are going to eat stored grains with chemicals. Poor people, they wish to earn lot that's why farmers apply more and more chemicals and pesticides to increase yield and to sell the produce, he will also not eat quality food. Only a few people who are fallowing organic farming they are eating quality food.

These are all depends on people budget what type of food. They want to purchase.
Every people budget are different and that's way. They are purchase product his budget. We will say Indian peoples using conscious food.

Every human wants quality either rich or poor, but recently we have seen many quality comprised scandals by the companies whose products are mostly consumed by many people like Maggi, bread which are mostly taken as meal for breakfast consists of harmful chemical in excess amount i.e. bromide, this all happening because are fssai are not strict to them or we can say if people make the product test by chance and found something and raises their voice in media then agencies come to take under action, Indian pupil wants quality but at cheap rate.

Hi everyone.
As per my point of view, Indians are less quality conscious is not right. I think this depends on person to person. There are some Indians who buy good quality products at a higher price against their pocket money or salary and we can also see that there are Indians who have high income but still believe in savings and buy some chipper quality products. Being a quality conscious is completely depends on persons thinking, and the surrounding environment where he/she lives. Judging a country on the basis of few people is not right.

Hii friends,
It's a good topic for discussion. I don't agree with this topic. As from my point of veiw, India is developing country and all peoples want the good quality product. They check the quality of the product. But, we know India has more population density and not all are richer almost, 80% peoples are from middle class and they can't afford the expensive product.
All peoples want a good quality product with cheap price. So India also conscious about the quality. They also concern the quality of the product and buy the best one.

Not at all. According to me in this time we have become more conscious about the quality of a product or something. It's also true that we were not even aware of this word 'QUALITY' in our previous time or we can say that we were so miser and quantity oriented not quality. But now we prefer BRAND. It doesn't mean that we have become rich. Kanjoosi is in our blood. We only buy a branded product when there is 40%, 50% or up to 100% off its just because we have become smart enough to manage our money without compromising the quality.

People are much aware of many things around them. In the past years people give much importance to money but not quality, but as for now, people are much aware of quality but not quantity or money. At present many deaths are happening due to lack of quality food and also using cheap liquids for mixing up in milk used for babies, this should be eradicated in order to make India healthy. Comparing from our grandfather and up to us the lifespan of people is reducing due to heavy usage of quality fewer products.
Thank you.
Thank you.

Hello, everyone! I don't think Indians are less quality conscious. Everyone looks for a good quality. But Some of the markets offer fewer quality products at a low rate so people are attracted to them. Some people have less usage of some products so, in this case, they may buy low-quality ones. Those who want to use a product every day will opt for good quality. Depending on the person it differs. But most of the people first check the quality, then only buy them. Only a few people buy such low-quality ones.
Thank you!
Thank you!
