In India, there are different class of people living together. The quality is also different as the class. Because each person can't afford anything which he wants. He has to compromise for quality or at least for quantity. There are many duplicate products with the same taste more in quantity but not good in quality. Eg-: If we go in shopping mall we can see on hand there is maggie sauce and on other hands, there is tomato ketchup with some different in size and less in price. The middle-class family will prefer that as they are giving same taste good in quantity as well. So they won't focus on quality somewhere.

Every human wants quality either rich or poor, but recently we have seen many quality comprised scandals by the companies whose products are mostly consumed by many people like Maggi, bread which are mostly taken as meal for breakfast consists of harmful chemical in excess amount i.e. bromide, this all happening because are fssai are not strict to them or we can say if people make the product test by chance and found something and raises their voice in media then agencies come to take under action, Indian pupil wants quality but at cheap rate.

Hi, everyone.
According to me, Indians are quality conscious because duplicity is common in our country. In India, when we go to market there is always a high chance of getting duplicate instead of original branded products. Also, the economical situation of the family purchasing the product, let's us know about their quality consciousness, If the person belongs to higher class they are more quality conscious than the middle class, who are always looking up to their budget. The lower class want more in quantity than in quality so, them being conscious is not an issue.

Friends, it's all about the economic condition. If you are earning a good amount then you can go for a quality product. As India has a big part of the population under the poverty line so a major part of the population can't think about the quality of product instead of have them. But if we talk about the upper class then every people wants to have a quality product and they have the same. So I can say that we are not less quality conscious if we are able to afford.

Yes, Indians are less quality conscious. As I am agri graduate I know what the quality food is, rich people wish to take quality food but those people only taking poor quality food because they can't eat fresh vegetables, fruits and most commonly they are going to eat stored grains with chemicals. Poor people, they wish to earn lot that's why farmers apply more and more chemicals and pesticides to increase yield and to sell the produce, he will also not eat quality food. Only a few people who are fallowing organic farming they are eating quality food.

Nowadays if we see there are three categories peoples (middle class, upper middle class, rich).
Every person from every class needs quality product as it is time requirement. More than 80% of Indians are educated to know what quality product should purchase for keep long term so in future they do not purchase again and again means it will not effect on budget.
Today's market shows more competition in every product like if we look for simple soap then we can see there are multiple brands only in soap. And people goes only for a good product which will show more comfort and effective.

Hello everyone talking about Indian we are dealing with enormous population and in that case the very first objective is meet the demand of nation, for us quantity is first objective and quality is afterward, this is as much necessary also since as statistics can be seen that around 5% of population is rich enough who can fulfill their all demand and also consciousness exist for them, and rest of the population has to deal with their need.
