Honesty is not the best policy to deal with in life. If you truly love something you will protect it, if protecting something you love especially a person means being dishonest then call me a liar. Love before honesty. Honesty is a balancing act, not too much to cause harm and not too little to become diabolical.

I think, Honesty is the best policy...I t is true, that sometimes we have to suffer for being honest, but the result of being honest is guaranteed, may not be sooner.Gandhiji also gone to jail for our nation, so, are we forgetting him? its big no. so there is not less or too honesty. its all about selfishness.

Honesty is just being true to oneself and others. It's meaning cannot be changed. There is no doubt that being Honest makes oneself to put with lot of consequences in many ways. But that is where the strength as a Person lies. I still believe HONESTY IS THE BEST POLICY. And fruit for being HONEST pays in time.

Honest and too honest two different thing. Honest signifies that a person is honest but he is also alert, where as too honest signifies he is honest but he is not alert. A honest person can do his work without getting cheated whereas a too honest may become target of people and can easily be cheated.

Of course honesty is the best policy, but some times we have to give up our wishes while being honest, and in my view in the present world even though we are honest the others won't be like that with us and we face some problems because of them, so I think there is no need to be very honest always.

Honesty is a slow poison, it kills you every single time when you stand for it, you lose everything and finally you go under depression while the society enjoys making fun of you saying another loser is born the word "Honesty" looks good in books but it reality it takes every thing from you.

Honesty is good, yeah honestly telling, it is good to some extent but a person knows that after telling a truth it will ruin someone in any sense then it become. Also, we heard from somewhere that honesty is good policy but on the same side it's not the LAW, so it depends on the situation.

Yeah, l do agree that honesty is indeed the best policy. But it completely depends on the demand of the situation. Sometimes it may happen that telling the truth may make the bad situation even worse. So in that condition, it's better to compromise a bit with honesty and go with the flow.

Honesty is important but according to the situation. You have to act strategically to handle any situation, what happens if your honesty makes your situation more complicated, so you have to deal with situations where no one is facing any problem and equally problem should be resolved.

Its good to be honest but in limits. There is a term called "diplomacy" that is used to limit your honesty thats harms you sometimes. In the current times when life is competitive and harsh it is important to be honest in limits, which does not at all mean to take the path of lying.
