Riyadh, the capital city of Saudi Arabia, hosted the inauguration of the "One District One Product" (ODOP) Wall at the Indian Embassy. Indian Railways has renewed its MoU with Switzerland's Federal Department of the Environment, Transport, Energy and Communications (DETEC) to enhance railway infrastructure, technology sharing, and operational efficiency. This partnership, initiated in 2017, focuses on key areas such as track maintenance, station modernization, multimodal transport solutions, and tunnelling. The collaboration aims to leverage Swiss expertise in railway technology to support India's modernization goals, improving overall efficiency and passenger experience. Nepal has introduced a program to offer free cancer treatment for children under 14, available at Kanti Children Hospital, Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital, and BP Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital. Initiated by Health Minister Pradip Paudel, this program seeks to alleviate the financial challenges faced by families of young cancer patients. Cancer accounts for 11% of deaths from non-communicable diseases in Nepal, with approximately 1,500 children diagnosed annually, highlighting the importance of accessible healthcare for vulnerable populations.
