My name is Rajiv sinhmar, a civil engg.
I think :- deshuttering mainly depend in two ways 1. Height of span 2. Climate condition (if we are cast the slab in summer season so that early deshutterig but if winter so that time period will be change). So that please suggest me in why take a decision for deshuttering in 4 days.

For removal of formwork (without props).
Slab -3 days.
For removal of props.
Slab upto 4.5 m span- 7 days.
Slab more than 4.5 m span-14 days.
Hence as without props is 3 days.
So the nearest answer is 4 days.
And it is absolutely correct.

I am bit confused at which concept you have to take deshuttering made for slab within 4 days. Setting of concreting depend on environmental condition, span and thickness. But how it would be for 4 days only please explain.

Deshuttering,( formwork, stripping) time.
Vertical side of beams and column 24- 48 hours.
Slab span upto 4.5 m 7 days.
Slab span 4.5 to 6 m 14 days.
Slab span over 6 m 21 days.

Prop means standards which resist comprehensive load and which supports slab & here the questions was except prop then we only left with side runners which could be removed after 1 day.

It's correct soffit formwork of slab can be removed after 3 days props should be refixed. Since 3 days is not in the option that's why 4 days is correct.

I think for normal strength concrete at 10 days. For rapid strength concrete may be at 4 days.

Option C, 7 days is the right answer.
For spans less than 4.5 m.
For spans less than 4.5 m.
