Answer: Option
Explanation:

B's 10 day's work = ( 1 x 10 ) = 2 .
15 3

Remaining work = ( 1 - 2 ) = 1 .
3 3

Now, 1 work is done by A in 1 day.
18

Therefore 1 work is done by A in ( 18 x 1 ) = 6 days.

Look 1 work is done in 18 days. So 1/3 work is done in 18*(1/3).

Hope its clear.

1/18 WORK DONE IN 1 DAY.
1/3 WORK DONE IN X DAY.
X*1/18 = 1/3,
X = 18/3 = 6.

15days-----------18days.
5days------------ ?
So, 5/15 * 18 = 6days.

@All.

A=18
B=15
B=10
A=?

So 18:15::x:10
X = 12
12 ÷ 2 = 6.

10*1/15+x*1/18 = 1.
By solving you get x = 6 days.
