Father is aged three times more than his son Ronit. After 8 years, he would be two and a half times of Ronit's age. After further 8 years, how many times would he be of Ronit's age?
Answer: Option
Explanation:
Let Ronit's present age be x years. Then, father's present age =(x + 3x) years = 4x years.

(4x + 8) = | 5 | (x + 8) |

8x + 16 = 5x + 40
3x = 24
x = 8.
| Hence, required ratio = | (4x + 16) | = | 48 | = 2. |

i.e. Ronit age is also considered while calculating his father age so, Ronit age+ 3*Ronit age = His father's age. Here " Father more than" this word is important.
If Suppose Question is as Father's age is three time the Ronit age then & then only it 3X.

We must submit the 'x' value in 'x' place.

So, put 8 in x value.

5/2 simply how we can get 2 * 1/2 it implies 2*1/2=(4+1)1/2=>5/2.

For ratio sub 8 in x so we get (4(8)+16)÷(8+16)=2.
