Explanation:

Sum of the present ages of husband, wife and child = (27 x 3 + 3 x 3) years = 90 years.

Sum of the present ages of wife and child = (20 x 2 + 5 x 2) years = 50 years.

Husband's present age = (90 - 50) years = 40 years.

w+c =2*25=50 --II
substract(I-II) 90-50=40 year

When the solution is started like this
husband=x,wife=y&child=z
bf4 3yrs x-3+y-3+z-3/3 =27
terefore x+y+z=90--1
bf4 5yrs y-5+z-5/2 =20
terefore y+z=50---2 (1-2)
terefore x=40

Its simple:

Avg of 6 family members before 10 years is (Hus-10)+(wife-10)+(fath-10)+(othrs-30)/6 at 10 years ago.. By simpllifing abv we get (hus+wife+fath+othrs-60)/6

Present age average(Here babe replaces father): (Hus+wif+Babe+others)/6

As per given condition equate both the abv equ: U'll get Father's age=60 years..!! QUITE EASY NA ??
