P- M+NxQ

Now we have to find out the relation between p and q.

P-M means -ve sign denote brother of M.
M+N means +ve sign denote mother of N.
NxQ means x sign denote sister.

P is Maternal Uncle of q.

P-M BROTHER.
M+N MOTHER.

SO, ULTIMATELY P IS THE MATERNAL UNCLE OF N SO WHY DID YOU WRITTEN A (NQ) AS A SISTER.

+mean mother, -mean brother, %mean father, *mean sister. As we know maternal uncle means brother of the mother. So, Q mother is M for (+). And his brother p for (-).
