"passes the examination" is correct, not "passes in the examination".

Yes I agree with @Devesh passes in examination is wrong just pass in the examination is correct. So I think answer is D.

Here simple present is used in the sentence so here should be "es" comes the pass.

According to me.

It should be "passes the examination" not "passes in the examination".

Please tell me if I am wrong.
