There should be "nuclear was broken out" because after was we can't use present tense verb using s or es.

I think a would be the answer because many is a indefinite pronoun which is always used for plural forms so instead of has there should be have.

1. "The" is correct to use here with news.
2. "will" is often used when we talk about ascertain worldly things.
3. We don't publish news. Rather we publish articles in news, so "the news has been published" is okay.
