Two shafts 'A' and 'B' have the same material. The shaft 'A' is solid of diameter 100 mm. The shaft 'B' is hollow with outer diameter 100 mm and inner diameter 50 mm. The torque transmitted by shaft 'B' is __________ as that of shaft 'A'.

Actually, as per the direct formula.
The Ratio of torque in case of hollow and solid shafts subjected to the same maximum shear stress.
T(hollow)/T(solid) = (D^4 - d^4)/D^4.
If you substitute in this formula you get exactly 15/16.
