Statement: Please do not use lift while going down - an instruction on the top floor of a five-storey building.
Assumptions:
- While going down, the lift is unable to carry any load.
- Provision of lift is a matter of facility and not of right.
Answer: Option
Explanation:
The statement requests people not to use lift while moving down. This implies that the lift may be used to move up and the request has been made so that more people can use the lift for ascending which would otherwise cause more physical stress than going down the stairs. So, only II is implicit.

It should be the only D as both the assumptions are explicit and irrelevant to the statement given. The notice didn't mention anything that lift may not be able to carry loads to lower grounds neither it talks about any right to use lift here.

Both are implicit. The instruction is a polite one which could be a result of technical issues for statement 1 or that It could be that the provision and use of lift are not for everyone. Either for special persons or Senior officials.

I think D is the correct answer since both are not implicit.

Please don't use lift while going down -primary function of statement is to stop unwanted weight carrying. Descending required to be done on effort basis. It is the "expectation".
