Sir/Mam.

Confidence is the thought of I can do it. That is believing in myself.

And overconfidence on the other hand means no one can do it except me. And this is not good because it can destroy one's career.

There was a difference between confidence and overconfidence.

If there was a particular task, we believe that I can complete that task whereas overconfidence means I am the only one who could complete that task.

Confidence leads to success whereas overconfidence leads to unemployment or negative feedback.

According to me, Confidence is the way of expressing your thoughts positively and as well as appreciating other's way of thinking.

But, overconfidence is thinking that you are the only one who is right and others aren't.

According to me, Confidence comes with an equal combination of the ability to do the task and faith in yourself. Whereas Overconfidence is the thing which reflects the lack of ability and excess faith in yourself.
